Honestly though we don't need him to be fast if Reece and Connor are in the back line and he doesn't need to venture anywhere over the half way line. Just his experience in the back line and organising them would be great. Could be a right canny signing.

Not sure he'd suit Evatt's mobility criteria for a centre half. Its clear they need someone like Wheater but Evatt seems stubborn in his approach to me.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that, occasionally a young kid will blast that logic out the water, but Padraig Amond is no rookie.

At 32 years old, there's every chance he's followed the same path as every other aging striker we've brought in in the past.
