Quite the reverse, Paudie went rushing in to tackles and positions he should never be in, ( and did so again yesterday causing Canavan to keep telling him to keep his postion and temper ) AOC had to put his body on the line to cover his mistakes and was the rock of the two in defense, Quite a few times AOC would throw himself in front of shots to save certain goals while Paudie was out of position,

Go back and watch highlights from matches last season, Against I think Bolton at home he threw himself full length 2 foot off the ground in an incredible header to block a certain goal, It was not the only one as he hated losing and conceding and yes could react badly when he felt others let the side down round him, Its hard not to react when others are not as committed and playing badly round you (as at Portsmouth losing 5-1 )

What facts? I prefer players who demonstrate leadership qualities and look like they’re at least fighting for the shirt, not someone who laughs when we concede and as captain chucks his armband into the goal when getting hammered. If they’re the sort of players you like at your club each to their own, but personally I don’t. Ability wise no doubt he can play at this level maybe even above lower down, his temperament and character on the other hand are shocking and he took a massive wage while doing so.

 

The thing with Aoc is he was never forgiven for one heat of the moment incident despite the fact for the whole time he was here he never let us down and our most consistent player. But he is gone now and many will be happy

 

He was laughing at ROD blaming everyone else rather than taking responsibility. I'm all for criticising or having a go at a player when they don't put in the effort but you obviously don't like the guy and see what you want to see. Did you bother to ask him about the incident?
