Lovely guy just not very good, that is quite often hit home when you listen to other local radio commentary teams. most are better

Rayner is also quite poor, he is getting worse and turning into a silly little man with his poor giggly banter, not a credible bbc commentator, and yer nan probably knows more about football

Ryan reminds me of someone who over talks to hide a lack of experience. He’ll get it in time but it’s not about him, or sound bites that wouldn’t be out of place on the Apprentice.

What I don't get is, why don't they fork out a tenner for the IFollow stream?

Most journos at the game are connected to a laptop so why can't they? All it will take is one clear look at a replay that follows on ifollow and they will see that wasn't a fantastic save by the keeper when the defender ahead it away five yards in front of the keeper, they will see Rowe isn't clear on goal when he is surrounded by 5 players fourth yards out. It will even help them that the stream will be a bit behind.

Don't get the reasoning behind it

I understand that i-follow ‘live streaming’ is actually received by subscribers 30-60 seconds behind the actual game.
You will see the ‘pop up’ box often confirming the final score, whilst on the screen, the final seconds are played out.
So if the commentators waited for the ‘I-follow’ pictures, they would be significantly behind the actual game and other incidents would have occurred.

Usually it'll take 30 seconds to put the ball back into play so I can't see that they'd be missing that many incidents. I think it's a great idea and would certainly help them with the commentary.

    "He's in!"

    Where Andy?

    In the ground?

Every bloody time the ball gets to the penalty area - he's in. Give it a rest!
