He wasn't good enough in his final year for us, what would make him good enough now? He was suspect at Ross County and found his level, or so we thought at Hartlepool.

 

Your last post labels Tony McMahon as "great" and here you are suggesting Andrew Davies wasn't good enough for us?

You probably need to give up offering opinions on football players mate and go watch badminton or something.

Not sure what happened at Hartlepool as he went from captain to contract cancelled within the day.

 

I would guess a better offer from Dundee, playing at a higher level.

 

suspect.....he captained them to a league cup win... I would imagine most fans wish he would be that 'suspect' at their club.

 

Apparently there was a training ground incident where AD make a comment about ‘not playing with these jokers again’. He then stormed off and refused to play again.

He had signed for them to help his mate out, the manager, thinking it would be an easy shift. His judgement and game skills were all still there but apparently it was obvious that his legs had gone so they changed the formation to put an extra CB in so there was an extra pair of legs.
