Doubt it, but saying that I do know which toilet block, and which sink, and the specific tap that does most regularly supply hot water in the Midland Road stand, but I am not telling.

I read the improvements "with updates across our digital platforms" to mean they are going take some sunny photos in Spring of the new tunnel and post them again and again on Twitter.

We’ve seen and heard more from Ryan Sparks in 8 weeks, than we did from Rhodes in 15 years. How refreshing that the club is again engaging with its fans and looking at how to take us forward in a modestly ambitious fashion.

If full attendance is allowed next august, then our first home match will hopefully be a sellout, and we should have a flag day along the lines of the cup tie against Reading, that would be great

Chalk and cheese, as you know during his time at City he has always made it known he was not one for the lime light, he left that to Richmond, Lawn, but you're correct fans being kept in ths picture (good or bad) is the way to go.

I'm pretty sure it will be cosmetic alterations as oppose to anything structural. My instinct tells me its improvements to the match day experience via a fan zone type of area. Quite shrewed if true, as an entertainment business you need fans at Valley Parade all day, not just for 90 minutes on a Saturday. It was always gonna be a tough job dragging this clubs carcass into the 21st century with facilities to match an ever changing landscape, especially as much of our fan base is still stuck in the past. But hats off to Sparks, he actually understands the need to move forward and that includes on and off the pitch. Even what theyve done with the entrance to the changing rooms last week, used to joke the wood pannelling looked like a 70s taxi office, nows theres City photos all over the walls.

Had mine Monday just gone. Had to go all the way to Kings Lynn but well organised ( it would be as long as Gov don’t get involved) AZ type. Nurse said take two paracetamols every four hours. I did and nil side effects ! Just the wife in tier 7 then next booked for May

A fan zone would be ace. Instead of spending an hour in the pub before games, I'd spend it in the fan zone having a beer, watching clips of City highlights and hopefully with something to help keep the kids entertained. Money for the club, a better experience for me, and it'd be great to get the atmosphere going too.

I've been saying for ages that club has missed a trick in generating more revenue by getting fans up to VP earlier and keeping them there longer.
Accy Stanley are a great model to follow on this. They make each game 'an event' and despite having one of the lowest league average gates manage to maintain a club in league 1. They've learnt how to squeeze more $$ from their fan base by making the day more than just 90 minutes of football

I've always thought his 'I don't like the limelight' was a poor excuse. You don't have to be in the limelight to keep fans informed about what's going on. A simple written statement every few months would have sufficed and wouldn't have required him to be centre stage.

I've brought this up before, but the matchday experience at Northampton Saints in RU is second to non, and most of it is down to their excellent fan zone. We could do a lot worse than to try replicate what that has to offer in the way of dragging fans into the ground 2/3 hours before KO.

Not many open spaces to utilise unfortunately. It was of the benefits the Bulls has using Odsal during the bullmania days, being able to use the space around the stadiums for Marquees etc. Wonder where they would put one?

A fan zone is a great idea for the milder months but not sure how popular it would be in the depths of winter.

As would supplying the local rag with an up to date photo of himself rather than one from 1999 regurgitated on the rare occasions he spoke. A very poor chairman in my view who would have been totally out of his depth without Mark Lawn.

It’ll be good to see the new dugouts when they’re done, another thing that will finally look professional instead of Sunday league.

Car park at the back of the kop is an ideal place and it works well even in winter for Northampton, even down to the use of patio heaters and canopies. If they want to make it work, it's doable.

There's also improvements they could make to the massive space under the main stand to make it a more welcoming environment.

Its not rocket science. For 23 days a year you have to get as much money out of fans as you can. Heck, even a little club like Accrington can put on a great day experience, the only reason we haven't is because we're a club stuck in the past in a lot of ways. My football day is spent at my parents then on to the ground at about half two. I've no interest in North Parade, i'd have to past the ground to get into town and i can't really stand the place. City can have my money but they need to give me and the lad a reason to get down there early. And it needs to be modern, something a bit different to a keg of real ale and a steak pie.
