They'll never get more fans than us when we are in the same league, the days of them being a bigger club are well gone. From 15k to 20k, the atmosphere is also not comparable. Even when they were in the PL they had to bring them clappers in to try to generate something into the lego ground. Fair enough they have an owner who will throw around some money, but the novelty will wear off. They can live off having success in the 30s as it's all they have left.

Town fans are comedy gold right now.

The sooner they realise they aren't this massive Prem club that has had the misfortune to drop down the leagues and they're just another L1 club, the easier this thing will be for them.

Their delusions of grandeur are so cringe. I'd understand it if they had a huge support, but they barely pull 15k home attendances.

 

They're in no way bigger as a club. The only difference in our semi-recent history, is that we committed financial suicide through over-reach and at the same time they had Dean Hoyle pumping money in.

They're a horrid, deluded bunch. Never forgiven or excused the way they acted in the aftermath of the Gordon Watson injury (assault). Hopefully they implode completely and go down to L2.

 

But not all agree with him

I think we are one of the worst 'supported' teams in the division and the sense of entitlement is alarming.

If "fans" miss games they have paid for, they are not from Yorkshire. Bert and Ethel are and every year they go to the Yorkshire show and every time Bert wants to do the plane trip over the dales, £40pp. Every year, Ethel is steadfast in her response; "No! £80 is £80". This year the weary pilot says "I'll do a deal with you. I'll take you up and if you say nothing the whole trip, it's on the house".
