You only have to listen to GA's interviews to appreciate he's encouraging a more risk based attacking style of play. Whilst inevitably it may lead to mistakes, which we've certainly witnessed recently on a couple of occasions, it would be wrong to flog the players when it happens.
I think most would agree we'd rather have the team set up in this way than the dreary safety first approach we'd become accustomed to over previous regimes

 

Yes I just think every time he’s played this season you can see his quality, for example the Stockport game he changes the game, whenever he’s been on the pitch he shows his worth. Be nice to see him get a run of games from a start

 

Possibly offside to me but if lino says it was on, that'l do. The passing and movement was better than anything the gallactico dogs produced throughout the game

 

I heard that Humphries got dropped for sulking .
not sure though.

II think the lucky thing with GA is that he's been to other places and it's not really worked out, in the managing world he's underrated because of it - if this was his first managing job he'd be linked with other jobs.

 

Not sure that's true.He had a bad time at MK Dons,but was successful at Scunthorpe,Salford,and Fleetwood.

 

Spot on. Tempting for all us to go back and try and defend our lead BUT we look so dangerous going forward. The more they play on the front foot the more the mistakes will decrease. We have to bite the bullet applaud all of our players as this style of play becomes second nature. GA will learn how to tweak games as we are playing.

Let’s face it, it is so much better to watch and we will win more than we lose. The players are so tuned into us (fans) they can sense disappointment but also the way we support them through the difficult spells.

 

Sacked at Scunthorpe, Salford and MK Dons,

He's gone under the radar, never really been snapped up by another team despite his success in short periods.

 

Gary Neville went on record to say they regretted sacking GA at Salford and got it wrong.

 

Correct - all while he was defending Ole and demanding more time for him.....then goes and sacks his own manager sat in 6th and with a cup final coming up.

But thats G Nev eh...
