Let's hope he can work his magic and find an away formula for next week. Cardiff are very much a possession oriented team, which if we were at home would play into our press but we've largely failed away in the league so far. We have to have a strong midfield and defence at the Stadiwm Dinas Caerdydd and hope we can get them on the break. It will be tough but having watched a few highlights, they're not Bayern Munich by a long way and if we can get a point at least it will be great outcome.

 

I have one little moan about yesterday. I don’t want to be a killjoy but when you are knocking on a bit you don’t want to be standing the whole match. But this is what we had to do yesterday I really hope it was a one off

I had a great uninterrupted view in the NW Corner but there were a lot standing in the kop.

This is one of the latest entries on DATM. Not from a spotty faced 15 year old but from an elderly gentleman who before the game said there would be 5000 empty seats as we give fictitious figures for tickets sold.

As you say not for the first time they have fallen apart away from home, Barnsley, Blackpool where they played against 10 men for an hour and yesterday, watching the game yesterday Grant has to take responsibility for not having a "plan B" continually playing out from the back and having 10 passes to get to the halfway line played straight into our hands, if he doesn't sort their away form he'll be gone by the New Year IMO.

But tbf, they are often still quite effective even if telegraphed. Even if they don’t directly find our wing backs (and they often do) they are pinged so hard that they are difficult for oppo FBs to get a decent clearing header away, under pressure from our WBs. So they often end with a throw to us well into the opposition half, from which we can build attacks.

I was inches away from being KO'd by a flying bottle over the road from the bradford arms. Bricks, bottles and glasses were flying everywhere. A city fan to the side of me lobbed a bottle back over the road in full view of the dibble.. they did nowt, so I don't think a few stickers were their top priority.

Lol.. no, though I did tap a man mountain who thought it was a good idea to rest against the steps railing just below my seat obscuring my view of the goals in the first half.. he said someone was in his seat. We told him to kick the fecker out of it but I think he was scared of this youth. Lucky for him there was just one empty seat in our row so we put him there.

Yeah, I can agree with that. As you say, they aren't floated so that obviously helps make it more difficult to defend against.
