There's an image of a guy who does tbf look like J Wright at a Lewis Capaldi gig, and Wright is stood queuing up at the bar using crutches

Mcintyre was a smart signing. He was CB number 8 but looks like he is needed! Could even see George Goodman if Wright and McIntyre are not ready.

We now have an abundance of attacking options fighting for 1 shirt and a lack of CBs needed for 3 shirts....how on earth did this happen! Very unlucky.

If Tilt, Wright & Pennington are missing, I cant see us even getting a draw today. Only 1 clean sheet in L1 so far this season, cant see us getting a second if its the backups against Taylor & May.

We have a pretty decent record in lunchtime games and are usually very good at home, so you never know but if those 3 are out, it's likely Kelly would be the central CB with Baldwin the only right footer and either McIntyre or Touray at LCB, and that just frightens the life out of me.

The same thing happened at the beginning of last season as well so yeah, I'd say it's fair to call it very unlucky.

From my point of view, over the next 2 league games
    2 points- happy
    3 points- delighted
    4 points-ecstatic
6 points- let’s start the promotion party now

Surely today is the day we bob Pattison in for Leigh? He's been woeful on the ball all season and barring a good half hour in the second half against Wimbledon, he's been fairly naff in all aspects. Going to need someone in the middle to push them back and try drive us forward.

Couldn't agree more. Pattison also brings more energy and tenacity

i think thats unfair on Leigh, he was superb on opening day, plenty of folk had him as a MOTM. Luton he was decent enough too.

I do agree its Pattisons turn.

What a shame Tilt is out. This is the exact sort of game he’d thrive in. Although he’d probably get sent off. I’m not confident ref Kelly and Wright. Just means we’ll have to score more than them to win the game.

Looking forward to it immensely. First visit to VP in 8 years, and bringing my 16 year old son with me in what will be his first ever visit to the ground. I’d certainly take a 4-3 last minute win today! Cheers all and enjoy the game.

Think we'd have to score more than them to win whoever plays at CB.

Maybe, I just really cant see any upside in his play so far? His passing is dog rough, his completion is amongst the lowest in L1 so far. And he's only touched it twice so far this season in the other teams box. He's had 6 shots, all from 20+ yards away, all have been blocked. Then defensively he wins half his duels, wins half his tackles but he's been dribbled past 11 times, which again is one put him in the bottom 3% of L1 for that one.

Might be calling a spade a spade a little, but he's so far been a CM who struggles to pass/keep the ball, who has next to no goal threat. Yeah he might win 1 in 2 tackles, but Powers there to do that defensive load. Feels like Pattison is someone who will attack, will give them a worry, and he will also get stuck in. I like Leigh dont get me wrong, I just dont think he has any effect at CM.

EFL trophy games. He's just got too many better options than him in all slots unfortunately. He'll be 26 this seasons and still nobody can really say his best role.

How many times have I said 6 centre backs isn’t enough ? 7/8 minimum options when we play with three at the back? You can’t stick anyone in there because it’s such a specialist role. Remember the instances when we had to play Halliday, Richards or Ridehalgh in the back three……. Square pegs…no hole ;).
