The Voice - Match preview #8: Bradford City vs Huddersfield Town Saturday 13th September 12:30pm

Just to add to the plaudits, I thought tactically we were really good after struggling in thar early spell, and G.A & his team deserve credit for that.

There were moments in the 2nd half when they were still trying to play out from there own goal kicks and we just boxed them in, ignored their 2 wide players and overloaded the centre with Josh & Tyreik sitting centrally and Huddersfield looked totally lost and couldn't get out.

We did it a good few times & I just thought once again, we have genuinely got ourselves a good manager here.

 

GA is turning into one of our best managers and may already top the charts. Watched his interview, he just looked relaxed and proud of the team. Love him, he still wants to play, asked Baldwin to do his job so he could come on and play for the fans. The interaction between the management team and the fans is second to none, plus the squad and the fans is the best I have seen. This all makes it a very happy camp. Yes technically we have a long way to go, but the character of the players and support of the 12th man will carry us a long way in my view. Well done GA and all the backroom staff, and the players for restoring our faith in our club.

 

Enjoyed reading some of the comments on their forum but it looks as though we are still relegation favourites to some on there:-
Let’s not pretend Bradford were good. They were turd. Nowhere near Doncaster which they proved last week.

Brilliant day today putting the dog botherers back in their kennel.
Teams trying to play out from the back play into our organised press. We will turn over many of these type sides.
We need to find a solution for those who play long and sit in a low block. We need to find a way against those type of sides where patience will be required.

 

The uber that picked me and the dog up in saltaire earlier after a few pints said he's just dropped a Huddersfield player at the BRI and he said they need a scan but they think he needs an op, after the scan he's going to go back down to London for it as he lives there.

 

How efficient is the public transport from Tallinn on your average Saturday?

 

He seems a good guy. Good news his eye ops went well. We've also won almost every time he's been to watch us - one exception being last week.

 

We should enjoy this while we can. Great time to be a fan !

After the first added time goal, after the celebrations started to die down, my mate said "that's bloody fantastic" and jokingly said,"There's still time for another one", I scoffed and in the next breath the third went in... we were both speechless.

Last 3 times the Town keeper Nichols has faced City..... 3-0 defeat play off final 2013. 4-1 defeat at home for MK Dons against us in 17, and then today's 3. He must dread playing us!!!
