That wasn't what I said though.

However, as business doesn't work remotely like I think it does, I shall just have to (not for the first time), bow to your superior knowledge.

What you won’t say is how we could fund these players you want within the same ( limited) budget . Anyone can say it “ should” be done without saying how and consider the financial consequences . That’s why I challenge the comment Pet.

We were never behind until the last kick but I suppose that also gives credence to your point aswell.

It's gone now regardless, I believe we could have made a better effort of it or at least had a different stab at it, but hey ho what's a world without opinions

To be fair I'd have probably not made the subs he made but I'll cut Alexander a large amount of slack while we're still with a shout of the autos.

Yes I get that but as I posted the reason I'd start him along side those other left sided players is purely down to going for all three points, on the other side Baldwin, Halliday and Sarcevic, I'm not sure Alexander has my gung ho mentality, what I don't want to see is us go a goal up only to see attacking options being subbed for defenders.

I'm not convinced about Johnson, I don't think in all the games I've seen him in he's looked like a player who could nail down the position he was picked or brought in to play.

Whatever we do on the left and in the middle, and I really couldn't say what the best combination is there, for me Baldwin has to be restored to the right side.

The past on the left, the present doing the business.

I don’t think Johnson is a wing back, don’t see it. However as a rcb which I believe he was brought in to play I 100% do. Mind boggling after being arguably the 2nd best player on the pitch behind Sarc against MK, he’s never played there again.

There’s clearly a player in there, he has more than double the L1 appearances of all the other centre half’s put together barring Huntington of course.

Kelly looks to be injured so I’d go Johnson,Baldwin, Shepherd or Baldwin Shepherd Crichlow.

Crichlow has had a few iffy games but we know the player that’s in there. Look how many games it took for Baldwin to get up to speed. Need the wide centre backs to start playing football not hoof ball again, whoever plays.

Is it weird to be particularly impressed by the size of Kelly's arms. He came off injured in front of where we were sat and he's an absolute unit. Knew he was in good nick but he's an absolute beast.

Alexander worries me with his default defensive substitutions. Swindon and the County game resulted in conceding goals when he's shoehorned defenders into unnatural positions. League 2 defenders on the whole, have spent their entire careers in one area of the pitch. Very rarely do you see a defender play effectively when asked to go into midfield. It's a whole different mindset and everything happens around you and not in front of you. I hope we see round pegs in round holes from here on in. If we play on the front foot and press we're the best in the league, if we go backwards, sideways and long ball we'll be handing the initiative to the opponent.

Totally agree with this, on a par with Mark Hughes substitutions.

I hope he selects our best 3 available at the back of Baldwin, Shepherd and Crichlow and sticks with them barring injuries.

Stick with Halliday and Tayo to provide a settled back 5 for these last 3 games.

Let's finish with three 1-0 wins please
