When we stood on his toes instead of giving him acres of space, he wasn't quite as effective. Take nothing away from his first half performance though, outstanding.

He was absolutely excellent in the first 45 but when it got tough he seemed to disappear as did their two midfielders , Moxon and Norwood . ?

He did the same last week after they played Orient totally collapsing in the second half , proving a public berating didn’t stop it happening again last night. It’s extremely poor man management RT. Perhaps he thinks he’s untouchable after just signing a new 3 year deal.?

Challinor hasn’t lost the dressing room at all but yes comments on Moxon are out of order. They conceded in stoppage time the other week but were unbeaten before last night.

They are a proper side though, bang up there on xG last season when third to two mahoosive spenders. A club with a plan, i still think they’ll win this league when they iron out the creases.

Lowe was a great loan signing for them and others have more to offer.

In contrast just watched GA's post match interview (I know we won but) very humble and level headed and psychology wise what impressed me was when asked about last seasons away form said "its in the bin ". hopefully we continue to progress first and foremost to ensure safety in this league then anything else is a bonus

Didn't even notice Lowe to be honest. Their best sub was the lad on the right who despite wasting a good chance looked very much a threat.

He is in full contact training now. I bet he has pulled on a shirt before September is out.

 

Several other posts on the Yellowboard saying that Powell reckoned he was fit to play for much of last season but Challenor kept publicly stating that he was injured. The suggestion being that Challenor just didn’t rate him (he wasn’t one of his signings) and that Powell’s recent injury record might not be quite as bad as we fear. Let’s hope that’s true.

I certainly wouldn't be happy if my manager was trying to reinforce a narrative that I remain injury prone, I'd take him to court over it. That's my career he's messing up with lies, guaranteed to cost me money in my next negotiations
