Sam Walker, Curtis Tilt, Ibou Toray, Alex Pattison, Will Swan, GRAHAM ALEXANDER and Management team STAND UP! Absolutely fantastic.

Couldn’t have been a more different second half than the first. Lucky to be only 1-0 but we rectified it with a simply superb response at HT.

Its very early days, but quality, depth and personality of this squad are fast becoming one of the most endearing set I’ve witnessed in my 35+ years of supporting this club.

Graham Alexander take a bow! The team talk and change in formation at half time. Talk about earning your pay.

 

Bang on. This teams strength is press from the first whistle and that starts with your front three, bar Sarces goal I don't think any of the starting front three played well, all a yard off the pace allowing Stockport to build from the back. With Swan and Patto on it allowed us to up the tempo. Good managers make bold changes and that's what Alexander did.

 

Anyone else think bringing in Sharpe has been a masterstroke? I will apologise to him on LinkedIn for my articles about him last year

1st half vs second

Was night and day!

 

Great win.

But if we lose the next three, let’s not get too down as clearly we have a decent squad.

 

Not almost , identikit the opposite , but we had an end product and not a kangaroo in goal.

 

Great "tussle" with their main man Wootton tonight, he is going to be worth watching in every game he plays just for the scraps

We can only report on what we saw A , the turn around was fantastic, GA and the players must take credit.

He seems brilliantly intense. I remember him bollocking a team mate against Wycombe, who hadn’t exactly committed the crime of the century, but you’d think it was a last minute howler that had cost us promotion

Clearly a player who appreciates how his career has progressed and won’t let anything stand in his way.

Great signing by the club. I never thought he was bad, but never thought he was this good.

 

Had a look at the Stockport forum and they see Tilt as a thug. About time we had someone like that. Can someone answer me on this. Had Stockport won their last 10 home games?
