My heart still going just! I thought we toughed it out in the second half. Yes we had luck but we worked hard for it.

I've been critical of the club for much of the last few years, which I very much stand behind as fair criticism. But I'm also very happy to offer praise where it's due, and this club has done a 180 over the last 12 months. Everything we're doing is spot on, from top to bottom. The recruitment is so much better, the energy and mindset has been transformed. We're showing reasonable ambition in what we do, and crucially, we've reconnected the club with it's fanbase. I've said for a while, successful Bradford City sides need to have a foundation of being horrible to play against and setting the tone with how we work out of possession, and this team epitomises that. Long may it continue, it's genuinely enjoyable being a City fan again.

 

We couldnt have picked a much tougher start for 3/4 of those games……Last seasons 3rd, another playoff team in Wycombe, and then ante post favs, who've won every other game and are still banking parachute payments from their Prem relegation.

We should fear no one. Go for it now

 

Anyone on here who still thinks Sam Walker isn’t good enough should start watching a different sport.

 

We now have beaten two of the teams favourite for promotion in a row. Don’t give a damm how we were dominated in the first half has a politician once said just rejoice

Wow, thats some character shown by the lads tonight turning around from an awful first half performance to that gutsy second half performance against a very good side.

Sam Walker obviously man of the match with a wonderful performance.

Very good performance from Curtis Tilt who Marshalled the dangerous Kyle Wootton very well.

Decent performance from Humphrys, but clearly needs to polish his finishing though.

Special mention to Sarcevic though with that wonderful winner against his old club despite looking out on his feet most of the night.

9 points clear of the relegation zone after just 4 games!

 

Classic case of taking your chances, we took the ones we created, they missed a hateful. You could see Alexander seething first half, the players weren't doing what he had instructed them to do, I was hoping he'd change the central midfield at half time and he did, taking off the ineffective Pointon and Metcalfe. As soon as we reverted to our high press they couldn't find the space they had been afforded first half.
Kudos to the manager for seeing what we could see.

 

Good lord. After that first half I turned it off and took my son up for his bath and book. Turned it back on just before Sarce scored. What a turn around! Tremendous. And Sam Walker keeps making wonder saves.

34/1 ht/ft netted me 85€ too! Happy Days.

Phenomenal. Management and team spirit. We are blessed (and deserving) of this renewed city spirit. Watching down in west Oxfordshire in the village sports and social we had people loving that second half. That save.

I thought Humphrys was poor tonight, seemed a yard off it all night and his hold up struggled to bring others in. Swan had a far.better game and looks a good shout upfront.

 

Amazing isnt it. Give them space, they play football. Put on a bit of pressure and they shit themselves.

Not rocket science. feck knows what they were doing that 1st half. The 2 changes made a hell of a difference. Men replaced boys.

 

Tilt has had a great start to the season but has arguably stepped up even more with Wright injured. Well done to him.

 

This league is easy. Championship here we come
