Regarding the weather forecast nobody has a clue and you can include the experts you go around different sources and they never have it the same .............just wake up in the morning and if theres no snow it will be grand

 

What about hurting your eyes during the game with daft advertising board at the Bradford end

 

That board is a real pain for us sitting in the Kop. Far too bright, can’t see what’s happening in goalmouth. It’s terrible. I’m sure I remember club been contacted about brightness affecting view of game by someone on here. Nothing seems to have changed.

 

Despite yesterday’s update, there must be some doubt about today’s game. It was minus 3 overnight and won’t be above freezing until around 10 am. Hope the covers have worked, but I have my doubts

 

The advertising boards are fine

 

Not from block E of the main stand they aren't, especially when showing an ad with a white background. The ball disappears. I'm quite surprised we haven't had complaints from referees or the opposition. Maybe it's not as bad if you are on the pitch.

 

Covers might keep the frost off but not sure they’ll stop the pitch freezing solid?

 

When the advertising boards were first installed they were very bright. After many complaints the brightness was turned down considerably. In the last couple of matches I have noticed them again and not in a good way, so I am wondering if they have been turned up again.

 

Yes, they’ve definitely got brighter again. I hate them.

 

When it’s dark they really make it hard to see the ball from the kop, not so bad during the daylight
One issue is our floodlights are not the best
I believe they were meant to have been replaced for LED lights, but this has been delayed
Has to been done by 2027 though

It’s because the floodlights are so dim. The pitch should be the brightest thing in view, not the Las Vegas style billboards.

 

I think I’m on my own in that I quite like it! Might get one.

 

They turned it down from memory and complaints subsided . Wonder if it’s been turned up again or it’s the gloomy winter season weather makes it look brighter. Just contact the club ?

That's a very good point and makes a lot of sense why the boards have become an issue again.

 

Sincerely hope you are wrong - just set off on train from South London - could be a hell of a wasted journey

 

The covers keep the freezing away down to around minus 3
Pitch was playable yesterday and not been too cold overnight with temperatures rising now
