Hoping Swan starts. He's earnt the shirt, and his hard work off the ball and pressing could really punish Rotherham's leaky defense.

Agree. I watch the weather every day. It'll be sunny on Saturday, if a little cold.

Listening to him he certainly isn’t and is fully aware of our recent history going back many years . Fairweather fans wouldn’t have a clue!

Are you saying Hudson is a fair weather fan?

Its the forecast for snow tonight that might be the issue. Hopefully only a light dusting and gone by Saturday morning

Just hoping it's not like this. Taken this afternoon in the south of Poland. Gonna have to dig out the car before Saturday in order to get to Cracow airport.

its meant to be sleet now, turning to light snow at 6 until 8 and then back to sleet until the early hours
Friday light rain until 6 pm and then again sleet until midnight
    Saturday looks a reasonable day
Lets hope the pitch isn't rock hard, thats what will kill us, especially the Bradford end, which has caused problems before, as it gets very little sun in the winter

I think the south is going to get the most snow for a change. Forecasters cant seem to make their mind up whether we will be hit with heavy snow or rain.

I bet Poland doesnt grind to a halt like over here?

Maybe the damage to the pitch if it does go ahead maybe an issue

I dont think it will ever be as bad as it was a couple of season's back.
Ploughed field or when we beat Sunderland in the cup (Scarborough beach). It was always pretty poor 70's and 80's
As i said covers were on early, so hopefully no frost and they keep most of the water off.If the game is on, no doubt the pitch will get a good watering prior to kick off, which always baffles me.

Nope. They're well prepared. We're much more used to it here, of course, but it's been a few years since it was this heavy.

Paul Hudson was sat directly in front of us at the FA Cup game at Main Road during Kammy's days as manager we had just signed Mark Schwarzer who had a great game that day.

Maybe they could use the hot air from some of the posters on here to heat the pitch.

    Feel free to volunteer.

All that talk about Gillead tearing up league one should have people sufficiently rolling about laughing to melt the top layer of frost.

Few games already called off for the weekend. Oldham game has been postponed, but even in a heat wave I bet it feels like -3 at Boundary Park.

Quite a few of the games postponed are because of FA cup commitments.

I'm talking specifically about weather, Oldham and Chesterfield have already postponed their matches for this weekend due to weather.

Chesterfield is on the northern edge of the storm, same as around the Peak District. Birmingham, Midlands and Wales are going to get it much worse. Anything West Yorkshire is likely to be lighter or less impactful.
