Barry-Murphy's been awarded manager of the month for December. Hopefully the curse does its work tomorrow.

 

Their left back impressed against Chelsea. Need to have a strong right-hand side tomorrow. No passengers!

 

It's interesting that Cardiff's scoring has dropped off.

I can still see this being a bit of a goalfest, though, to be fair - either that, or a 0-0.

 

We need to be on top of our game with the press, don't give their midfield and defence any time.
We can win this.

 

Is the “curse” as reliable as the new manager “bounce”?

Looking at their xG they were giving away too many chances (despite what their actual GA total showed) but created the most chances in the league, so in an attempt to tighten up, maybe they’ve lost a bit of attacking threat.

Against Chelsea a month or so ago they looked really good going forward - especially down the left - but they prat about at the back and the CBs and GK look like they have mistakes in them if we hound them like we did at home to teams earlier in the season…..
