He collided with Walker so doesn’t go off if it’s 2 players from same team.

I think the rules are if two players from the same team collide then they don’t go off .

I think you're being slightly harsh there. Both have 7 goals already this season and may well finish in double figures. That's a decent team contribution whichever way you look at it.

I do agree that we need other strong options in that role but I still feel they are both more than playing their part.

I've seen quite a lot of complimentary comments from Cardiff fans on twitter, with a fair few saying the second half felt like the longest half they've had to get through for a long time because of how well we played and that if we could finish, we'd have probably won the game.

If a player collides with a goalkeeper the goalkeeper can't go off so the other player doesnt have to either

Whats hamstringing them is all the play on the left touchline. Its so easy to defend. We need to bring the ball in more centrally on the field so passes can go left or right. We don't have the technically skilled players like Arsenal do to play along the line.

    I've slept on it.
Sending high balls to our midgets up top is not gonna produce chances 90% of the time. If we are gonna play that game then we need to loan/buy a big man who can get hold of the ball and make things happen.
In the second half we played it on the floor and looked much much better.. that's the way we played in the first quarter of the season and it worked brilliantly.
The play and interchanges between the likes of Touray, Pointon, Swan, Sarcevic and Neufville destroyed defences at home in the early part of the season. We seem to have forgotten how to do that in large phases of play and have reverted to L2 hoofball.
I don't buy the idea that teams have sussed us out because on the few occasions where we did get the ball out to Neufville we were at our most dangerous. Cardiff didn't blunt that approach much, more like we didn't capitalise on the tactic.
Yet hoping you can knock a high ball to Swan etc. and something will happen is basically the hit and hope football you get in amateur football.
We need to get back to relying and pace, movement and skill.
Also, playing triangles down by the corner flags for 30 seconds and only ending up with a throw in to start another 30 seconds of triangles does the cause no good whatsoever, just allows the oppo to organise. Getting the ball crossed as soon as you can will produce more chances than pissing around in the corners.
Like I say, my opinion, but I'm frustrated that we are not the same team.

The long ball crap .......WHY ????
Get it if we had a battering ram up top but we dont .........bet the Cardiff defence thought there dreams had come true :(
Just bizzare sometimes from GA ..........Pointon should have been knowhere near the starting XI ..........Tyreik Wright i know hes got his fanclub here because he runs sround a lot but is main aim is to beat players and get crosses in he rarely does either.

Got some hard thinking this week GA has because we all know the MASSIVE club from Kirklees will be well up for it now

I thought both were quite innocuous yesterday. They've both become increasingly ineffective as the season's gone on. In Bobby's case it may be because he's young, in Sarc's because he isn't. Bobby has had a few injuries to recover from as well. They had their moments to be sure yesterday but both looked tired.

Not tired just ineffective. Partly due to the non existent link between the pair of them and the two central midfielders and wing backs, especially first half I thought Bobby was just getting into it when he was taken off yesterday whereas Sarce was never in it the entire game. Defensively we are a very solid outfit, bar the lapse in concentration for the second goal and a wonder striker there was only the effort off the line that really troubled us. But going forward remains a problem, we never look fully convincing despite a better second half.

Strange how the blatant penalty is not shown on any of the highlights.. including extended highlights…
Is that to protect the referee from being scrutinised about the blatant miss ?

My post was aimed more towards the future than right here and now. But as we are talking about their 7 goals each, how many have been from open play in the last few months? It feels like we caught the division cold somewhat early season and have now been nullified somewhat. I'd be surprised if I'm the only one on here who thinks it, but they have looked less effective as the season has gone on. For me long term, you can only have one player like them in that front 3, the other places need to have pace or power or in an ideal world both.
