I think we signed Calum Johnson instead of Oyegoke. Can’t see Oyegoke coming now.

 

Well the fact we are a man down and I think Baldwin is a downgrade on Platt based on last season. Johnson ive never seen at CB so could go either way. Oyegoke did ok in the run in.

Downgrade might seem harsh but can you honestly say we have upgraded our CB options? Doesnt scream ambition to be promoted...

 

Chapman modelled the kit 2 years ago. Pretty sure Smallwood may have.

I agree I think it's unlikely we sign him now. If we could get him permanently then I think he's worth trying to get as a long term prospect especially if it's looking like Halliday isn't going to sign an extended deal.

 

I think the LWB signing for us will be a loan signing later in the summer.

 

I don't think we've downgraded but we haven't improved either in my eyes. It's a much of a muchness so far at the back.

However, look at the table.... the defence was actually pretty decent, it's the other end of the pitch we need to see improvements from. We need some creativity asap.

I would take him without a doubt. Still only 22 years old, we saw his undoubted potential in his first spell.

 

No he started poorly and was getting better match by match I hope he comes back left sided with pace and goals

 

we don’t need potential we need the real deal this season, I’m sick of this league I cba with potential

 

He has only ever really shown that potential in his first 4 month spell with us, everywhere else he's played he's been poor.

 

I imagine money might be an issue for us even if we do want him.

 

Not saying I would be totally happy with it but I can see Wright and Oyegoke eventually signing, possibly on permanent contracts. The thing that they have going for them is their age and they have both spent some time playing under GA. I think Alexander now has an idea of how he wants to go about things next season and the make up of the squad he feels he needs to go with. We might not be happy with his signings but let's see how it pans out.
