I’ve never considered the previous system as a cap as such as it changes depending on your income.

They could interview the Queen and I would still take it with a large pinch of salt

Ironic that their season ticket costs about 50% more than ours, but our attendance was 50% higher than theirs, and they play football in League One.

Your last paragraph is the most important.
    “They play in league 1”
And on the very frequent occasions they find themselves in the bottom league, it’s not for long.

add a caveat to that, they are not a footballing town with nearly as much history and fanbase as we do.

I pointed out that in the last full season their support in League 1 was two thirds that of City. Despite MK playing in a higher league, they cannot break five figures.

The have a population of nearly a quarter of a million. There are no major Premier League clubs within 50 miles of Milton Keynes (there are four current and a further seven who have been in the Premiership within 50 miles of Bradford).

Bradford’s football support was split until the mid 1970’s, and we had a major Rugby League club. MK Dons is a new town with a younger age population profile than Bradford.

Milton Keynes has a virtual monopoly in a large catchment area.

I have a solution to that it's quite simple really
Go and have a breakfast couple of pints, meet up with friends family etc mingle with the away fans and come 2.30 stay in the pub
I was not alone during the Rahic era lots stayed in the pub whilst others went to the match only to return bitterly disappointed
Remember New Year's Day 2020 (freezing cold day) sat talking to some Morecambe fans who were at the time worse than us they didn't go to the match either
    Best of both worlds

All true Rod, but it also suffers from the massive migration of spurs fans that live as far north as Peterborough. Get a London train on a Saturday morning when spurs are at home and thousands are on the move from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bucks, South Northants. My family live in Bedford and Northampton and when we visit it never ceases to amaze me how many spurs shirts you see around town.

There are also sizeable L666s, Manchester United and Liverpool support in Bradford. Further south people go to the Dogs and up the Aire valley to the Dingle’s! Not unique to Milton Keynes.

For me the clear communication of a coherent plan to develop the club and get back to the top of league one and beyond. No buzz words, no bullshit, a new manager and a statement that Rupp will pay what is necessary to get us back to where we were when he bought the club or a statement that he is leaving.

And on that score that Julian Rhodes has had an office named for him but that he won’t be involved in running the club.

I don’t want to hear that changes will be made, mediocrity will not be accepted, shared will for promotion, the great city deserves better, fans are the long suffering, if he doesn’t want to be here he can leave etc. We’ve heard the same words year in year out and nothing happens. I don’t want to see players, our better players, looking like they hate playing for the club. Sign some quality players, a good manager and the season tickets will sell themselves.

    We'll see very shortly!

I don't recall whether a particular date has been mentioned when the season tickets go on sale but the club will have a hard task selling them after such a lacklustre end to the season. I'm expecting more fine words from the club on how things are expected to improve both on and off the pitch in the future. But those fine words will ring hollow if they are not backed up with genuine improvements we can all see for ourselves. I don't know how Sparks will do this but some of your suggestions would be a good start.

Scunthorpe United put their tickets on sale this morning.

Adult seat prices range from £435 to £615, with earlybird prices knocking this down to between £360 and £532.

There are additional discounts for those who held season tickets during 2020/21 "in recognition of their financial support of the club during the pandemic", further reducing the price to between £300 and £440.
