19/20 Season Prediction’s

I am always optimistic at the start of the season and we have assembled a decent squad early. I think a visit to Wembley and promotion will be a cracking season.

 

Think I’ll wait until I see if the new signings can actually play together this year

 

Think Northampton could be up there as well, made some decent signings.

 

Too early to say. We need 4-5 more in first.

 

Much more optimistic than a month or so ago. I'm going with the play offs, for now. But a couple more quality signings, and who knows ......... The TITLE ??

 

Not so sure about Swindon ..... Their budget is quite tight.

 

Let’s wait until we have sorted that midfield out first. Still weak as piss and needs a lot of work before I’m committing myself to judging us

 

I have faith in Bowyer and stated as much last season, despite the calls on here for him to leave at the end of the season too

It’s a long old season. We could take time to get going. 9 signings so far with more to come.

His Blackpool side was around 15th in January and they went up by the play offs. Not ideal but sure they didn’t complain.

With 3 auto places, that’s where we should be aiming

 

As long as we have a club to support and new grounds to visit and take my thermos and tartan blanket I don’t care. Division 4 is our natural home.

To be fair, that was Fordy and nobody took it seriously.

 

Yes, there were a few of us asking for Bowyer ro be given time to stamp his mark on the squad. I think he’s now proving his doubters wrong.

Although if we get off to a rocky start, the likes of Fordy will return to question him

 

Remember this time last year when people said we would be pushing for promotion with who we got in.
I do feel more comfortable now knowing that bosnian lunatic is nowhere near but I will wait till after pre season games to say where I think we will finish.

 

The difference in this close season to the last one could n’t be more different. To have a proper manager recruiting his choices to fit in to his side so early in the close season is just how it should be done but because of last years chaos it feels even better. Credit to Bowyer and Rupp for backing him with money and not empty words. I’m feeling excited about our chances.

 

I had my eye on you as the old season ended because I thought Gary Bowyer would give you a good chance of bouncing straight back. Then Andy Todd left and I thought if Bowyer isn't being allowed to keep his right-hand man it doesn't augur well for the future. Now you've made some rather impressive signings so things are looking brighter.
At least there's reason for some optimism though there are several other teams that seem to be "going for it".

 

I have faith in GB to get the best out of the squad,
my worry is injuries scuppering things.The talent is
there just need to keep it together.

This time it does feel a little different but no reason to go overboard
