Big disapointment tonight was listening to the complete crap out of some City fans mouths after the game

Hathis loon even been over the last 6 years when it really was fooking bad for the majority of it.

We are badly struggling with injuries and to there credit we have still battled our way to points.

Tonight wasnt the best but it wasnt the fooking worst either

 

Poor few games (key players missing) but I’d take our position at start of season any day
It’s just when do these draws start to become like losses

He's the opposite of Richie Smallwood who was forever slowing the game down.

It's interesting.

 

Well I prefer he do that in the dressing room rather than on the pitch. I think Power heaped all his frustrations on Halliday. Yes it was poor decision making and he should have done better, but a spat like that in full view of the fans is not a good look.

 

He certainly was, some were saying get him off - can only say they weren't watching the same game as me. And a brilliant hanging cross that Cookie nearly got the winner from

 

I thought Kelly was immense tonight.

 

Yep because injuries have had no bearing on it ..........you take Patto,Bobby and Humphries out of it and any team will struggle.
I mean i get it if we had struggle to score against teams with a bad defensive recored but the last two havent ....................that Saturday and tonight was always gonna be a struggle a full fit squad would have seen different results in both games

 

Totally agree, no need to be too downbeat tonight - we are not quite on it at present but we are 2nd in League 1 which is a fantastic effort

 

Me too, actually, I think it helped that he had quite a big lad to mark and that let him use his physicality to dominate.

He thrashed that lad in the air all night, or at least until he went off after an hour lol

 

Frustrating game but a draw probably about fair. I groaned when Wright came on but he was actually very effective, one cross right on the money and another saved by the keeper and leigh should've done better with the follow up with the goal gaping.

Glad for the cup break and hopefully by the next league game we'll have players back and a better starting 11.

Can't complain at second but i hope we get a win on the board soon.

 

Fully agree. Power strikes me as the type of captain who takes his role seriously. Sees it way far beyond the arm band, coin toss, front row of the team photo. He’s the managers leader and voice on and off the pitch and there to drive the standards the manager expects. It’s been many, many years since we’ve that influencer in our squad.

I want to see him vocal on the pitch and rollicking when necessary. He wants to win and I’m quite sure so do we. Appreciate there are different leadership types, but I think Powers suits our club and where we are at right now.

 

We've been spoilt at VP for a long time but not tonight. First 70 minutes was like having teeth pulled out, much better when the subs came on. Wright should have been on a lot sooner, the left hand side was pretty much redundant till he came on. Thought Leigh showed he had a point to prove when he came on. Apart from that all a bit meh. A clean sheet a bonus but then probably the easiest clean sheet we've earned in a long time.

 

I put money on that Power has been handed bollockings out all season but now its become an issue ..........why because we aint thrashing teams ????

Man wants to win with a passion, i'll take that all day long.

 

We said the same from right infront of it in the MR. Absolutely no excuse for that.

 

Someone on another thread was going on about our lack of clean sheets ,and i pointed out if you wanted clean sheets dont expect the game to be a belter then ...........which sadly happenrd tonight

 

I think we could be still playing this time on Friday night and not have scored tbh.

 

Sadly folk cannot see the bigger picture
