Pointon's technical ability is in a different stratosphere to Kavanagh. You need to be more than just a good runner at L1 level which is why I don't see Kavanagh making it higher than L2 ultimately.

 

dont no if its just me when cook played together with swan they looked good together
me personally would have left swan on with cook.
still have to be honest we are still in a great position lets keep up the momentum.

 

Yes I was surprised he took Swan off yesterday. Thought he look revitalised on Saturday when Cook came on to join him up top. Don't think I can ever recall a good Cook / Kav partnership game

 

I just don't rate him.

Humphrys and Swan both do as good as, if not a better job of pressing and they both bring decent other attributes with them.

That, aligned with Cooks return to fitness means that in reality, he should be 4th choice centre forward yet we're squeezing him into the side in a deeper role that he just hasn't got the attributes for and we witnessed that over a longer spell at the beginning of last season.

For me, he either forces his way into that central striker spot (he won't) or he simply misses out.

 

Look back through the pages talks of dressing room unrest .........Kav and Swan being pulled to bits or am i making it up

 

Kav has had some stick and Swan called out for a poor performance. I don't see an issue with criticising players regardless of where we are in the league. I haven't seen anything at all abut 'dressing room unrest'.

 

Saw a pic of Sparks laying a wreath before the game. Has he trimmed down? Looks like he lost a stone or two.

like this reply swan give all every game ok he is on a goal drought at the moment, but we have been playing the tops sides
so just getting draws to me is a great result as far as I am concerned.every team at the top are there because
