That's how I saw it. Clearly dived over the leg and there was a long delay before the card came out which indicates to me he was clearly influenced by the Stevenage players.
I know we can all be biased and refs can get some unfair criticism for doing what is a very difficult job, but the overall performance of this guy was as bad as I've seen for a very long time. Up there with some of the worst we've seen from Mr Drysdale and that's saying something!

 

Poor ref who was CONSTANTLY influenced.

Although I think he was also very slow in making decisions which also made it look even less convincing.

 

I'd go further and say poor effing reffing!

 

It was a clear yellow card for Touray, he had no reason to go flying in and by flying in it's a yellow card whether he makes contact or not. The reason for not getting the card out straight away is that the priority for the referee is to check on the injured player before disciplinary action. If a Lincoln player does that on Tuesday night and doesn't get a yellow we will rightly be complaining.

 

Glad it was only a yellow.. for the 30 seconds before he reached in his pocket I thought the ref may show a red.

 

Yes 100% . He wouldn’t go far wrong in alternating them but let’s be honest , Sarce is hitting the net no matter how , does he have a touch more guile than Laps …but they could alternate depending on the opponent?

 

We have a group of players who have to start if fit and Sarce is one of them. The rest are squad fillers. Max Power another example, if fit Alexander will play him every game in the league. What Lapslie allows is to keep up the press and stay the same shape.

It would have been VAR and three “looks” from the ref

 

I've only seen it live and not on tv and at the time I genuinely felt the Stevenage player initiated the contact. Agree that Touray played into his hands though by making the unnecessary challenge.

 

Roughly Seven and a half hours travelling for twenty minutes football if that.
Sums up the whole day really both teams were nothing more than support acts, whilst putting it nicely i didn't rate the headline act at all.

 

We were playing at Stevenage, did you expect anything else? They have won all of their home games; by playing or allowing their opponents to play pretty football? The first requirement was to match them in battle. We did that in spite of all of our missing personnel.

 

Typical Evans style of football, gain free kicks by any means , even in the centre circle. We know the rest . You only need a referee that falls for the antics and you are under lots of pressure. We defied that pressure exceptionally well.
A valuable point won that others haven’t !

 

I wasn't making a comment about Stevenage and how they play or Bradford for that matter.
My comments are based on the fact two very good sides were unable to perform due to the tin pot officials.
I go to watch a game of free flowing football but when the man in the middle decides to make up his own rules and obviously has an obsession for hearing the sound of is own whistle it's a nothing game
