    I see the Club are rewriting history.

    If the Club was "born" on 29 May 1903, how come the Club was elected to the Football League on 25 May 1903?

    And how come the first two players signed up, by Bradford City, were Jack Forrest and Ben Prosser, from Stoke City, on 1 May 1903?

    Of course the Club dates back to the 19th century as a rugby playing Club, but the decision to run an Association Football side, under the name Bradford City, had effectively already been made back in March 1903.

    However, there was a members vote on 29 May 1903, at which the decision was made to drop the rugby team and proceed solely with the newly elected Association Football team.

    Trevor Hockey was probably my earliest and close to one of my top favourites of all time I was gutted when he left from his first spell

    Me thinks who ever is responsible for this marketing needs to do a little research with regards Bradford City or buy John Dewhirst's book, I'm sure many fans have different opinions of who should be on the flag but I don't think anyone would disagree Stuart McCall should be on it.

    Indeed. In any such marketing, the three players we know just by their first names -- Ces, Bobby, Stuart -- should be givens. Any other players we can -- and do! -- argue over, but not those three.

    reading wiki, I know not a font of knowledge, the club was voted into the league before the rugby club actually voted to change codes, which they did 4 days later
