Not a great half but at only one down we can definitely get back into this. Pointon and Neufville been pretty anonymous and unusual lack of composure by Swann with his missed chances.

Why do we keep hoofing it out of play?

I'd be tempted to bring on Cookie pretty early on the second half if things don't change.

 

The 2 misses and then that mis control...one is forgiveable but he is becoming a liability. Not his night and yeh, a red card coming.

 

All about taking your chances this football lark. Would have put good money on Swan taking one of the two.

Id go Swan and Pointon off for Humphrys and Cook 10/15 into half if we are still losing and go 3412. Pointon and Sarce struggling to get involved but Sarce has glimpses. Him in the 10 behind two strikers.

 

The replay Sky just showed I don't think theirs is a red card, Pattison has his touch before the foul and it's very likely the ball is going through to their keeper before Pattison gets to the ball.

 

Too much kick and rush. We need to settle it down and start to build. Too predictable at the moment. Leigh needs to improve this half..

Rotherham have done their homework.. both Neufville and Pointon have been nullified..

 

Disagree with that we are not getting down the wings getting crosses in Cooks meat and drink save him till last 15 minutes if we are still chasing. Pointon has been poor get Humphrey on and see what he does there.

Leigh’s been so much better this season but not at it last two games. This has been such a frustrating watch. Should have had game won after 6/7 minutes. Think Walker could have done better with goal not utilising wide players. Too much hoof! Big half coming up.

 

Need changes this second half. Not just players but tactics. This long ball to no one lark is not working and we need to stop being second to the ball every time and giving them possession.

Not looked at the numbers, but it seems so far this season that leaving a BD postcode nullifies Pointon. Might be wrong, but it seems like he only get involved in the goals or assists at VP.
