Entertaining first half. I think we have kooked ok going forward, just shite in front of goal. Their keeper made some nice saves.

We are missing Power and look shaky at the back. But overall ive seen far worse from City.

PS why isnt Neufville playing?

 

Very disappointed with that first half. What exactly are the players doing with these aimless long balls to nobody? Surely we can’t fall apart without our captain. Someone needs to take charge on the pitch

I reckon this team will have more points against the top 6 than the bottom 6 this season. Really iffy so far. Don't know what happens to us when we face a team we should beat on paper, but nothing ever clicks for us.

They are very shaky at the back when we put some pressure on, but they are finding space themselves.

 

I’d Keep Swan on. We need to find a way of getting Neufville and Wright up the pitch, Neuf has been totally missing.

Please get Byrne off the pitch.

 

I am a really big fan of Swan but tonight isn’t his night. Looks more likely to get sent off than contribute to a goal

 

That’s why I’d keep Swan on. Him and Sarce should unlock that back line again in the second half. Lapslie would have been interesting. Someone I would also NOT bring on is Metcalfe. He pisses around with it too much, and with this packed midfield he’s going to struggle. I’d keep it as it is for the moment. Wright has been our most anonymous player this half. Bring Humphrys on for him after 60 mins.

 

Id keep Swan on until 60 mins. His clever runs are causing issues. Weren’t both his chances on his weaker foot?

 

Defensively I can see why they are in 21st….However suicidal defending on the half way line completely nullifies our press , long ball or nothing. Swan should really have two himself.
Theirs was a well made goal , no complaints .

Cook won’t make a difference if they continue to defeat on half way .

Their keeper has made three great saves whereas Walker should have saved theirs!

 

Tale of 2 keepers so far.

Theirs has made 3 or 4 good saves, Walker poor for their goal.

Too many casual performances tonight so far though.

Hopefully a good half time rollicking to wake them up, because Rotherham definitely there for the taking.

We can't keep passing up chances like we've created, it far from over but we to make the keeper save if nothing else, 45+ minutes wont harm Cook get back to match fitness.

 

I think both he should have lifted them over the keeper.
