The point I was trying to.make was the vast gap between the likes of @Park bantam@Park bantam and possibly myself at times is ridiculous.
And to blame other fans for renewing is IMO well OTT, if you feel that renewing you are supporting the regime I can't agree, I have followed my club for many years and never renewed because of the owners etc.
No problem with you disagreeing mate I just wish others on here were prepared to offer another opinion rathan than put fellow posters on ignore because they disagree which I find pathetic, why join the forum.

The upgrade of the stadium is still an issue, irrespective of ownership. I don't know what, if any, issues exist but been open from the club would allow consideration amongst the support base

Fair enough. Let's hope that the club are more transparent moving forward. As a support base, I'm including yourself here, it's frustrating that we are still a fourth division team and that we all aspire to progress on the football side, as well as the non footballing side.
There has been somewhat a breakdown in relationships between some of the support base and the upper echelons.

So if Gibb "is not remotely interested" let's understand what the club are CONSIDERING with regards to the stadium

If there are issues do fans really need details, I'd much prefer to be talking new players etc, maybe that's just me.

Park brings it on himself just like others with wild opinions do.

I'm worried that if Stefan Rupp buys the stadium for his own portfolio, we're in no better position than we were before Rupp leaves (hopefully soon). This would be a disaster as we'd be hitting the reset button on another long lease, no doubt.

Hopefully, though, if he does buy the stadium he is doing so in order to sell the club WITH the stadium, and once a deal is done, that's that.

I have to say, if the latter situation materializes, fans on here were saying for a few seasons now that the club wouldn't be sold with no assets, and people like @Fordy117@Fordy117 have been mocked roundly for bemoaning that very fact, with suggestions made that he needed to know his place.

I will laugh heartily if Rupp now turns around against all the narratives that have been coming out of the experts at the club, buys VP, then finally gets a good price for the club.

That would really show the level of business knowledge surrounding the club, eh?

Nah some people on here think they speak for the whole fan base. Like those taking part in the damp squib protest whilst there where a lot more people queuing to renew their season ticket. I speak to a lot of fans and I don’t know any who are happy about where we are but don’t hold the extreme views as some do on here. Some posters are only happy when the club are on a downer and they can criticise away and they disappear when things are goi g well

I thought you had left? I didn't take part in the protest but I am in no doubt that the threat of it, along with the previous actions, letters etc., precipitated action from Sparks and Rupp. Also, just because people were protesting doesn't mean they didn't renew there season tickets.

The "damp squib protests' as you so eloquently put it, have had more of a reaction from the top of the club, than the "sit on your hands and stare at your feet" inaction has done for the last 5 years.

I thought long and hard before renewing we both did. It is not the fans fault that we are in this predicament as you appear to highlight. I respect your view and certainly wouldn’t blame you.

Do you believe that Rupp would have drafted the statement he put out if there wasn’t the protest and fan unrest about how the season had panned out ?

    You won’t get an answer.
Or he just puts on ignore any poster who dissects his posts and shows them up for what they are -rose tinted opinions of a club who after 6 years of this current ownership are still residing in the arse end of league football.

Things going well? Where is that exactly. Pardon me for stating the obvious but we're still in league 2 next season after what most would describe as a woeful season of football. Never in the top seven all season, an owner who admits he'd shown no interest, a CEO going cap.in hand to the owner cos it's gone tits up. Yeah, things going really well.

I knew he’d be straight back on here “when things are going well” (9th in league 2 in case you were wondering)
