Could also be discussions about getting the ground back.

Maybe Rupp wants to reveal significant news during the interview rather than not being able to comment. Let's hope so.

I don't think for one minute that Rupp sits in on meetings, Sparks will report back. Just as Sharpe should report back to Ryan to give him an update. Hopefully Sparks involvement in the footballing side will become less and less.

I still can't quite get my head around Sharpe playing second fiddle to Sparks. Something seems not quite right there.

Can't get my head around Rupp buying the ground to be honest
It takes him all his time to attend the ground let alone buy it
Gibb must be rubbing his hands at the money he can ask for it even if the pension fund agree to a sale and why would they
Am still hoping Sharpe is here to oversee a takeover as @ahar964@ahar964 says it's strange he's playing 2nd fiddle to RS and more believable than Rupp digging deep to buy the ground

There must have been discussion around purchasing the ground back. If Rupp has been told it’s not for sale, then surely the club would let us know that the lease is being renewed or we’re looking at alternative options. I think everything is on the table at the moment. As for Sharpe he might be facilitating a sale or even looking to buy the club for his family to own.

Not until I see actual positive actions rather than hot air from him.

Amazing how Mr Rupp had the time for an 'impromptu' visit from Ryan and time to draft an 'open letter' just prior to the protests but now delays his promised interview (fans only told by Jamie R on X, nothing from the club)......he can't spare an hour of his time to talk to Jamie R on a zoom call? Standard form if you ask me. I mean I'm sure Jamie would have been happy to do it 9.00 pm at night simply for the scoop.....

"I recognise that over the past six months in particular, I have not been present enough and have been too quiet. For that, I apologise. My intention going forward is to be more visible, and I will communicate more regularly with you to ensure you are kept updated on plans for the club’s future. I have been made aware of the various topics that matter the most to you, and I intend to cover them more openly, regularly and clearly."

    Here's the link to Ryan's T&A article.....

Bantams CEO Ryan Sparks delighted at season-ticket sales | Bradford Telegraph and Argus (thetelegraphandargus.co.uk)

Nowhere to be seen, in hiding, when it wasn't going well!! We now hear from him when the season has ended....and he's so so positive....

“But we finished the season with a flourish and are going into next season with five straight victories.
“It’s quite a while since we’ve won five in a row in the league and we’re heading into the summer with more momentum than we’ve had, certainly in my time at the club.
“When you compare it to last season when we lost the play-off semi-final and the train seemed to hit the buffers.
“This year, while we’re obviously disappointed not to be playing our part in the play-offs, we’re really well placed to attack next time.”

He's clearly been listening to GA's last few press conferences......

“We want to be the best versions of ourselves on and off the pitch going into next season and give our supporters the days out they deserve.”

    OUT OF HIS DEPTH.......

    Spot on roger.
Some people just look for issues to point the finger at the club.

They wonder why people have trouble believing them. Maybe if they stuck to their word people would have more faith. I've just had a look back at the blog in the T & A of the Radio Leeds 'fans forum' to check what Ryan said about a fans forum in person and he said there would definitely be one this season. I must have missed it. Did anyone on here go?

Read this and thought he was doing alright till he mentioned the budget. All last season his claim was of a competitive budget and being in the top seven (clearly seventh biggest then) of the divisions wage payers. Then changes the tune to that we didn't have a top three budget and that it was it was always going to be a challenge because of it.
Well make your bleeding mind up fella, calling something competitive then questioning just how competitive it is when you fail with that budget just makes you look incompetent.

Fed up of all the claims about competitive budget, or we are top 3 or 7 etc etc. We had a sustainable budget for last season and whether that is enough for promotion is for the birds. As it turns out there are massive questions about how it was spent and is down to Sparks and Hughes.

Bulls*it spewed out by the club yet again but, eh ho they have your season ticket money so they don't give a flying one.
Did any of you expect anything different/new, it's just the same season after season.

I've already forgot about last season and looking forward to next and then have to read that sort of stuff and i then remember old Captain Soundbite is still here. Thank goodness David Sharpe is behind the scenes now.

Some don't like the club to e challenged and expect us to just accept everything we are told despite the years of disappointment. Roger himself many years ago on this board claimed it would take 5 years from Rahic leaving, to be back where we were when the owners arrived. Well it is 6 years this November time and we are nowhere nearer a league 1 playoff spot that we were the day we were relegated. I for one am disappointed that Rupp has pushed the interview back, I hope it is for a good reason that involves positive news for the club.

Yet again the fans have backed the club in droves, most likely bringing in more season ticket money than last year despite the crap, I just hope Rupp and Sparks don't let us all down yet again. As for the budget, what a joke and some believed that we actually had a top 3 budget. 7th/8th biggest when our turnover is the second largest (largest next season) is simply unacceptable, we should be top 6/7 budget in league 1, let alone 2. No wonder we end up with so much crap every year.

I read that piece in the T&A from RS, my reaction was not good. Patronising the fan base and no sign of any contrition. Cut out the slaver and treat the fan base with respect. A simple message of thanking the fan base for their continued support, and a short sssessment of the season that has just finished and a plan of how we take it forward or a date as to when that might be out. The gushing false humility is sickening tbh.

Agree even though we're not aware of the terms after the 25 Year lease is up I would hope there is a possible buy back clause.
I'm not sure why fans think Rupp buying the stadium back wouldn't be an asset in the sale of the club, buy the stadium in his name and rent it back again at a lower rent he collects his brass to go part way to the cost of buying the stadium and he doesn't need to put his hand in his pocket to boost the player budget ?.

To be fair, they have every right after the turgid shite served up every season and the bullshit that is spewed out of Sparks' gob
