End of pre season

 

It's division three, lowly stuff, nothing much changes....................I had an ace day out in York today, 2 new grounds so far for me this season. I didn't renew my ST for a few reasons but I suppose the major one was that I didn't want to see what I thought I would see. I'd pay top dollar right now for an ST to a Jamie Lawrence led City.

 

The bcafc hashtag for the last week has been shocking. Yes I’m worried like other City fans but the reaction is completely ridiculous. Some of the stuff written by our fans about MC, ER and also the Robinson issue is embarrassing.

 

The only thing you care about is getting as far up Edins arse as you can for your precious supporters club benefits.

 

Are you for real? Are you seriously that blinded by your edin tinted specs? Even under his new guidelines of a head coach wanting to promote youth he interviewed for 6 weeks only to promote someone who was a part time coach who had an appalling record with our own youth team. And you think that's because he was better than all those interviewed? No he wasn't, the word is out amongst the football world about how our owner behaves and we have our Cellino and now we have our Hockaday.

Here's my take, FWIW ..........

I think Collins is a knowledgeable and cultured coach - no - really.
However, An educated person doth not a good teacher make.
Think about that, a while.

Collins is not the kind of person to welcome scrutiny - which may suggest his anonymity during game time. Which in my book is a big fail from the word go. Leadership starts from the top, in this case the Head Coach. If Collins is afraid to bark orders from the dug out - Then how the Hell will any pattern of play change ?

I have instructed at various levels, in Engineering. The first priority is to make sure I'm understood. If I'm misunderstood, then how can I instruct further and expect success ? That goes for any industry, including Football.
Build from your weakest link, and ensure you are understood Mr Collins.
At the moment, YOU are the weakest link, Michael - and if things don't change - YOU will be out.

Yeah one a those "tweaks" might be " One Of The Ways" ? As its evident hes not "The Only Way" !

 

Jamie Lawrence?..apart from being a favourite as a player here, why do you reckon he could turn it around?. He has already made his feelings known about our owners, so it would be a non starter on that basis alone.

 

No one else wanted the job before the season started who the hell would want it now ?

Unfortunately I don’t think Edin would stand for that either. If by some miracle he was to be appointed, two strong personalities like theirs would inevitably clash. He’d be sacked in no time

And what benefits would those be please ? Travelling 6000 miles plus a season / putting 100's of hrs a year work in organising events all to earn money to support the club and charity ? Go on please list the benefits I would love to know what you think we get out of "being up Edin's arse"

 

How would I know I'm not his secretary, but your telling me we have a part time youth coach as head coach who didn't even apply for it because he is the best man for the job? Stop with your bullshit you're starting to sound like Rahic himself
