Oh don’t worry I am not letting this one drop, he’s fine firing questions around and dismissing the initial question I asked.

Our soft tissue injury list is it players, training, preparation or facilities- even I said it’s a mixture.

He won’t have that the facilities have contributed even when former employees have said they do!!

How is it Walker ended up with a hamstring injury playing for England , with the best medical and training facilities in the world yet failed to stop it over the weekend ? Whilst our medical facilities are critiqued by someone who hasn’t a scooby doo on a forum , when suggesting Gilly was injured because of poor club facilities, and some actually believe what they say! It can happen to ANY player at any time, irrespective of care, training, facilities.

You keep missing the point a former employer who spent time at the club to help with injury prevention has said there is a correlation with the facilities and injuries( suspect amongst other things which I have alluded too)

 

AND

 

Having spoke to a couple of players, the quality of training pitches does make a difference when it comes to soft tissue injuries. How much a difference remains to be seen.

 

Not interested what FORMER employees of the club who are talking historically ….have to say.
They may be right, they may be wrong but personal opinion sways one’s decision . You don’t know, I don’t know , but your opinion is what it is without any knowledge whatsoever. Neither have I , that’s why I don’t “claim to know” , nor second guess.

We have had posts on here in recent days where people have unwiitingly got it completely wrong and had to eat humble pie.

It’s amazing what poor form on the grass and poor results turn people and as a result a decent forum into. Common sense has gone out of the window and conspiracy theories take over . The evidence is plain to see. That’s why I am happy to call-out misinformation, just as happy to be called out myself. When I get it wrong I say so and apologise. Nobody likes the situation but “made up stuff” will get called out, like it or not.

 

Unfortunately Kevin won’t accept that.

I don’t know the stats (nor am I going to retrieve them) but I’d imagine we are up there in terms of players out with soft tissue injuries.

Facilities and preparation i would bet my mortgage, if GA was speaking honestly are two of the main problems. Not all, but contribute to not having the best 11 available.

 

That's completely different of course you would, as the perspective employee is claiming to hold a sports degree, not offering an opinion on sports degrees.

you demand people produce facts to back up an opinion.

Someone raised a genuine question about if David Baldwin would return to city ,and your flippant response was "it's not any of your business" if he does or doesn't.

You seem to be an expert in all things Kevin, what experience do you have in running a football club that allows you to cast your thoughts on all football matters?

Alway through the appointment of Alexander you were demanding and stating having interviewed thousands of people, and stated "that's not how employment and recruitment works".

Now many would argue that interviewing staff for roles at Poundland, is far different to sourcing a football manager or director of football.

So tell us, and it may well be you can quantify and In which case I'll acknowledge and speak up but, Kevin what experience do you have in running a football club that allows you to have a bigger and better opinion than anyone else.

How is this misinformation when someone who is a professional in this field and has worked closely with the facilities is commenting on it? That’s also his job to be an expert on all things Bradford city due to his media work.

He has dam site better idea than you and me. You have dismissed his view and even tried to belittle his credentials because he doesn’t fit your narrative.

Andy doesn't always articulate the best on the radio but is quite knowledgeable, was a decent player for us and is a really nice bloke.

Agreed, the stick he gets is uncalled for imo. Also, he’s one of our own regardless.

 

We can blame training facilities for injuries but how many injury prone players do we sign anyhow ?????
Maybe thats another issue
