Yes let’s, but maybe in future I wish people could just step back and digest what has been said, have an open minded think before responding with a knee jerk post.
If it’s a difference of opinion that’s fine but simply responding calling a poster names shows a lack of intelligence.

 

Also, and I think it's the same with texts etc, the written word can come across somewhat differently than if you were chatting in person over a pint, I don't find anything about this forum toxic ....

We've spoken about it many times Al, I'm not the best with regards putting stuff down on paper, I try not to be inflammatory or offensive I'd much prefer to debate the point, I've meet many fellow posters who have different views to me with regards stuff away from football but it's never been an issue on meeting up, IMO there's is nothing better than a few Bradford City fans having a beer together sat at a table, I've meet with Roger a couple of times and as I posted a very genuine Bradford lad who's made good in life, working his way up at Morrisons but at the end of the day he's the same as you and me, he hurts when our club get beat.

 

I don't do much with regards posting on other forums but from what I'm told Bantam Talk is a bit of a crèche in comparison.

 

Around transfer window time I'll have a gander at other forums, especially if we are linked with someone at that club or them to ours, and ours is by FAR one of the nicer ones. Some of the conversations in the others take very little prompting to go very personal and toxic. Especially if the club is doing poorly or there's some bad attitude around it like the poor malaise around City lately.

The Grimsby one in January sticks in mind, when they sold their kid they got from Middlesborough for a 6 figure fee after 5 months (c'mon Gent, signing from Boro is your only thing!). Some of the comments on there were far worse than any of the name calling on here between the 'good for us getting money for him' group and the 'i cant believe we are rolling over for this fee' group.

Thank you, I try to be respectful to all posters and even in his posts that I challenge I’ve refrained from name calling despite the bating I mentioned last year. Even after he called me obtuse the other day I bit my tongue but enough is enough, there aren’t many on here like that but there are a few who are starting to form a victim complex because they hold a minority view and don’t like it. I’ve never muted anyone as I’m a grown man and can take shit that comes my way, but he’ll get it back from now on in spades, something I wouldn’t do with any other poster.
