The letters thing is worrying he was ok promising the premiership in five years (northern garforth league premiership) even if if he never read them and sent a note of receipt but to reject them is unreal.

It was Edin that promised that (at £1 a ticket), not Rupp.

 

Sadly, all that its going to do, is push Sparks even further out of the limelight. We know he loves being centre stage when things are going right, or he's come up with some new fanbait (Hughes, Wright), but when the proverbial is hitting the fan, he's nowhere to be seen. He's definitely reading these posts and articles, and he's definitely hurting. IF ONLY he realised that he could get a little bit of credit for doing the right thing this time, which is saying he's done his best, but its not been good enough. I feel sorry for him. Huge task for such young shoulders. Not a normal fanbase of league two watching his every move, but one four times (if you believe so) the norm on his back. I understand he only wants to do the right thing. He wants to be good! And fair play, he's done a lot in the short time he's been in charge. But its time for a change.

 

As someone said to me recently, what Sparks needs to do is hold his hands up and admit "I never applied for this job, there is no manual, I'm learning on the job and have made mistakes and will more than likely make some more, but I am committed to getting it right and will work on my communication with the fans".

And then resign !!

 

Rumour I've just heard a consortium with Dave Baldwin in charge have offered 4.5 million and rupp has turned it down flat.Also the medical team are totally understaffed and carnt do their job properly.

Baldwin has billionaire American backers and I heard them discussing it as we all ordered from the self-service ordering kiosk in McDonalds. I could tell they were billionaires because they were American and had nice shoes.

One of them then said "sssssssssh we've signed an NDA, let's go continue this discussion in a hotel lobby instead."

 

Tell me what they ordered at Maccy D's and I might believe you. I've got DB down as a double sausage & egg mcmuffin man (on a meal deal).

 

They'd just missed the cut-off point for breakfast orders so it caused a bit of a commotion, the Americans ordered large Big Mac Meals and DB was heading to spoons to get the all day breakfast instead.

Always causes confusion that. I once nearly had a full on fist fight in the Harrogate Maccies when I'd ordered a McMuffin before 10.30 and paid for it, but because someone forgot to cook it they'd switched to burgers. Never been back to Harrogate since, and i've developed a deep hatred of the place.

True, but I wouldn't have got a slice of processed cheese on a pork patty at Betty's either. Though, there were probably more fat rascals in Maccy's.
