Its the lack of structure and footballing people in the club, in my opinion. Just as Derek said.

Also a very thorough article in the Yorkshire Post saying much of the same thing, including "there are other issues but I'm not going to talk about them now".

It's a very strange thing to come out with, unless he is referring to something like not owning the ground, or state of the pitch - things not directly attributable to the current owner and CEO. Although to be honest I think I'm clutching at straws, he looks a dead man walking.

Another reason not to renew season tickets. Another season of frustration, another season of no direction. I’d rather take some time away until things get sorted out, if not only for the good of my mental wellbeing!!

The other issue is we are bab... we cant even scrape a draw from anyone, no tactics, players not in their position and their seems to be a few players who have wrapped their claw in.... You know you are bad when you give away soft penalties and OGs and the ball ...... regular

Unfortunately since the Germans took over, there have been no appointments with anyone with any knowledge of running a football club.. The only knowledgeable appointments have been the managers and unfortunately they quickly realised what a poison chalice our club has become and end up struggling.

To use Rupps favourite sport as an example.. We have a F1 car and need a driver.. we appoint Lewis Hamilton as our driver (arguably one of the greats of F1) in his first few races Lewis Hamilton quickly realises how bad his car is.. he's thinking why the hell do i have pedals for an engine.. Why is my helmet made of paper, why am i practising on this road full of potholes.

This is what lack of investment looks like....

Agree. Each day that passes leaves in no doubt the absolute mess we are in.

Grayson, Adams and now GA making cryptic comments. Hopkin storming out. Even Stuart was biting his tongue at times. Hughes was hardly enthusiastic. The only manager that towed the line with a smile was Bowyer and look what happened to him

I'll be honest, I've picked and chosen my matches this season and probably only been to 15, where as normally nothing would have stopped me attending a home match.

It's affected my mental health attending, and I feel much better out walking or socialising than going to a match. That's likely to continue, even though I have already renewed.

Up to this season, I've taken the view that it's the managers to blame, but there is enough evidence to see that view is wrong when a string of (relatively) successful managers like Bowyer, Hopkin, Grayson, Adams & Alexander, all of whom have multiple promotions on their CV's are all failing.

The issues simply have to be with the management of the club from higher up, be that Rupp or Sparks or both and I fear that if they remain, next year could be the one that sees us fall into non league.

Not owning the ground isn't ideal, but it's a smokescreen. Commercial income increases alone this year have covered that cost, so the issue has to be a level of toxicity coming from above.

Or put some effort in yourself and at least read the whole thread you've posted in, particularly the post from Dennis.

All the the information has been posted time and again on the forum, it's not down to others to trawl through and summarise it just to save you time.

Is this a precursor for him leaving its obvious he's lost the dressing room, what a mess our club is in it gets worse by the day

I don't think anyone is big enough to 'keep' the dressing room when the club is in the state it's in.

Mark Hughes, to be fair, managed it for a full season.

But that's an extremely experienced manager right there, I think most others that would even entertain the idea of coming to City will prove incapable.

The manager effectively has to screen all of the players from the monumental problems we're faced with. He has to hide the fact that we're run by a couple of amateurs and cover for the fact all the silly social media narratives are designed for one thing: to make things look better than they really are. [I mention this because the players don't seem to want to fake smiles for the cameras when the chips are down.]

Who on Earth is going to be able to do that, and get the team firing on all cylinders?

EDIT: Further to this, the fact that Sparks seems to want a manager to come in and 'do a Parky' and control absolutely everything shows that Sparks has too big of a job on his hands and he's trying to pass too much on to the manager. It's unworkable nonsense.

It's all well and good blaming the hierarchy.......which is certainly justifiable.... but it is the manager who picks the team, then decides on the tactics and formation, so he is to blame for what happens on the pitch.
If he cannot get those things right then he needs looking at, and questions asked.

    That's an easy way out.

Do you honestly think the last 5/6 managers have all been just pure crap? Despite having success elsewhere before coming to Bradford?

Take GA at the minute. There's something that's also affecting the players. Maybe most of them know they're gone at the end of the season? Who knows.

He is picking players he probably doesn't really want. He didn't sign them.
