"I think that’s why the lack of communication feels so insulting to us, Stefan. We’re upset, and as a football club you’re just ignoring us. It seems like you’re all trying to ride it out, instead of taking any responsibility. And yeah, saying anything in public will attract ire and criticism. But saying nothing at all is utterly cowardly and shameful"

"We’re now in a position where protests are set to begin. And the rotten mood around the club is only going to get worse. And maybe it’s too late to stop the ill-feeling. Maybe the damage done is now too great. But things have to change Stefan. This can’t go on"

    That's fair.

Cant really knock many of the words in the article. I think WOAP is so much better when articles aren't solely based on sitting on the fence. They've had a lot of stick in the past about being too neutral which I totally get, because if you always look for the middle group when writing conversational starting posts, you don't really end up standing for anything and your message gets lost.

But when they write things that go one way or the other, it comes across more in the piece and it's far more engaging. Pretty much exactly what most fans want to say to Stefan. Will he ever read it is another question?...

He ignored all the other letters.
He’ll just ignore this one as well.

He will go for option 3 stick his head in the sand and Sparkes will continue to stick his up Rupps ass.

I am at a loss to how he has made millions if he has let senior managers / execs underperform to the extent he has with Sparkes. He bought a decent motor but turned into a lemon using a cowboy mechanic to oversee the restoration , which he is now stuck stuck with, he knows any more money ploughed into it isn't returnable and he doesn't have the interest in football never mind City to lose his own money.

I have written an open letter to Sparkes

    Dear Ryan

Please look in the mirror, is there is 1% integrity somewhere behind the ego and snake oil patter make the right decision and resign.

    Basically DO ONE

    Thanks

You know you've lost the room when WOAP comes out against you.
There can be no doubt now that the fan base has totally turned against Rupp and Sparks.

    Great article.

Will Rupp respond? Hope so but doubt it.

    He will, most likely.

To be fair, it's not really in question anymore whether Rupp is a coward or not.

I don't think anyone is wondering.

If actions speak louder than words, then his silence and inaction are deafening.

It’s the arrogance that’s the worst.
Knowing they are there but not accepting them is the major issue people have.

Getting a lackey to go get them and then just throwing them in the bin would have been preferable to completely ignoring their existence.

And to what end all this hiding and doing nothing?

What do they think is going to happen?

How do they expect things to magically improve?

    It doesn't even make sense.

I admire the intent, but face it; Rupp and Sparks don't give a sh*t what any of us think.

It's better than doing nothing though! Don't you agree?

My mum used to have a saying, often when I wasn't listening to her:

"I might as well go and talk to the man in the moon."

I get the distinct impression that Rupp will pay as much heed to that article as he did to the supporters letters package.

Unfortunately, we're rapidly reaching the point where the 'play nicely and be respectful' approach isn't going to cut it. We can't be expected to just continue with reasoned and reasonable approaches when they appear to be falling on deaf ears.

    NAPM is required.

7500 season ticket sales would send a clear message.

Not to come across as too much of a defender of Rupp because he’s far from perfect but we should be careful what we wish for. Everyone wanted Lawn and Rhodes gone because we needed new investment and things had gone stale. Rupp came in to much fanfare and now look where we are. Look at other clubs like Bury, Reading, etc. who have had disastrous owners.

I would be more keen to see Sparks replaced with an experienced football CEO. For me that is the major issue at the club. Someone who knows what is needed and will advocate on behalf of the club to Rupp to invest in the areas that need funding. Getting rid of Rupp doesn’t necessarily solve anything, and could potentially make it worse if the wrong person were to buy him out.

Thats kinda my viewpoint too , Its Sparks that's the issue

Any new owner aint going to throw bucket loads of cash at the club and will want a return on the investment

Rupps got his faults but hes not rinsing the club
