He does rate him Idle, he said wherever he goes and the window opens he always looks to see if Smallwood is available.

Bar the own goal he probably was. But the bar was set that low there was hardly candidate that you could rate at even average.

A player with nearly 250 championship games under his belt shouldn't look as bad as he does at Bradford City. Be interesting to know what roles he played at these clubs and what players he had round him in midfield, maybe his legs have gone I don't know? All I do know is this ai arguably the weakest central midfield I've ever seen at the club, yesterday by the end of the game Levi Sutton looked the best player in that position. And even against Forest Green, a team in the bottom two, Osadebe looked no worse than anyone else in that position, a player not really good enough at VP.
It's a position that has to be completely revamped next season, a fit Pattison is a shoe in but after that we can't afford passengers or players that don't dominate. Our best midfielders over the last decade have been loan players from a higher level, Lee Evans, Josh Cullen, Lewis O'Brien. It might be our best option to look at this option again.

The same Oyegoke that failed to prevent March from heading the ball home ?
The same Oyegoke that put through his own goal ?
Doesn't say much for the rest of the failures out there does it ?

He was shockingly bad but no worse than many others. In fairness he's never a centre half in a million years, but thats another thing GA doesnt appear to see.

He was only there a few weeks , hastily written plan chucked in the bin only for another to be quickly written.

Stop coming out with this “plan” B/S . Not one person on this forum can point to a club having a
“ plan” , what the “plan” is and how the “ plan” us supposed to operate.

    Unless you want to try?

Ignore Stockport’s glossy “ plan” only based on year on year investment and year on year success. Anyone can write those. It takes seconds to see through it.

Most clubs , those without owners willing to relentlessly “ invest” like ours , ONLY plan is to survive financially. We are only bolstered by CHEAP season ticket sales in volume and good commercial activity.

When that dries up what is our “ plan” ?

He was a country mile better than Foulds and Sutton put together. Cook again completely anonymous because of an an average centre back AOC playing to what he knows best. Stopping danger .

That shows what we have become this season .

Yes Foulds and O,Conner were superb at the back for them and never gave us a sniff of goal. Foulds is both tall and pacy and is comfortable as a full ba k/wing back or centre back. He makes our defenders look like Sunday league and of course Sutton ran the midfield showing our lot up in both skill and work rate

Won’t have it, RT, he was awful throughout. Rides was Sunday pub stuff in comparison I’ll give you that . And now I bet Platt is injured again. Defence now is totally kyboshed .

    Taylor injured
    Stubbs injured
    Platt re-injured

Where does that leave us. Kelly and perhaps Wandsworth?

Put Cook as centre back? On second thoughts I’d do better.

That’s because the entire go to defence is injured.

You are right to do comparisons but only AoC was any good. The other two had zero opposition and yes Sutton ran around a lot. Foulds had nobody to mark whatsoever. If so who was it?

That Wright miss and Halliday doing the crab in the box. Both situations where a bit of composure would have likely resulted in a different outcome.

The best player yesterday was George Thompson for me. For us, it was probably Sam Walker again, didn't have much to do but made some good saves

I'd leave the loanees out for the remaining league games. We won't have them here next season and so it's pointless giving them game time. Plus, they're all crap
