Thank god for the spell McDonald had in charge. Without that, we'd be in a relegation scrap.

 

This season has been an absolute disaster and the writing was on the wall even before pre season games were completed. Losing at Crawley on day 1 against a team put together in a week was a real eye opener.
That said, somehow we’ve managed to stay on the shoulder of the playoff places and only need to go as far back as 5 weeks when we beat Wrexham and then followed it up with back to back home wins. We were flying, 2nd in the form table and keeping clean sheets.
Then…..the rug was pulled from our feet, the wind taken from our sails with the persistent postponements.
But still, we were in the hunt after an impressive away victory at Accrington giving some hope.
4 defeats on the bounce has killed those hopes now but looking at the table tonight, just 7 points from those games would have seen us in the mix.

 

Ridealgh ahead of Kelly was enough to be seriously challenged on selection.

However for the period of the game I watched today, and has been all season, we have no identity to our set up. No passages of play. Players out of position and most concerning in the past 4 games, we are so so so easy to play against. We look completely clueless and regardless of squad availability etc, that has to be down to GA.

He sounds completely lost and defeated in this interview. I don’t want him out, won’t achieve anything, but based on this performance he desperately needs help from other sources within the club and Rupp has to address this.

 

I’ve always agreed with where the problems are. I’ve never agreed with the proposed ‘resolution’ which includes boycotting games and withdrawing support.

 

Not seeing any light! But also not joining in any protest or season ticket boycott, I just don't think that's the answer.
Looking around the crowd today I saw alot of absolutely gutted fans!

 

I wonder how well McDonald would have done if he had taken the job full time?

 

I submit , they were mediocre rather than dire, the real point being made is our form against a mediocre bunch . The point still stands however.

 

There isn't a good answer. Any good answer needs to come from the disinterested absentee owner.

Fan boycotts are the best of a terrible situation, unless there's a better idea beyond crossing our fingers that someone magically sees sense?

It was a poor appointment on all levels, but to be fair he's done a lot better than I expected.

 

I've being going to City since 1981 and this is the worst season I have ever known .Time to organise a Rupp out flypast .We are definitely heading out of the football league next season if Rupp is still hear .Drop your asking price now and leave!

 

A protest is absolutely needed. Unless you have a cunning plan yourself? As for ST boycott-well that's is happening naturally now.

Friday is the time to really ramp up pressure on Sparks-we as fans need to come together in unison condemning the clubs board by continuing the chants that were evident at Harrogate today.

EDIT-just seen the other thread on the Protest outside the directors box. Let's take that into the ground as well as outside.

 

Annoyingly Foulds was so good at the back for them and Sutton ran the midfield throughout the game. 2 players we gave away as not good enough
