There are still some who clearly do not see the problem, then quote something badly wrong to try and justify their point. Some of us have banged on about the real problem at this club for a long time. Sick of seeing some saying 'but who would you bring in then' like we have a magic wand to bring a new owner in. We are part way through the same journey the likes of Oldham, Coventry, Scunthorpe etc have been on. We aren't as far down the road as some of those had to go but make no mistake we are some way down it. All this talk about sustainability only works if your club is going in the right direction, we are completely in the opposite direction.

 

Agreed on all points. We are on a downward spiral. I do think it can turn around very quickly but we need the right appointments. We have a very vaguley interested Chairman and I think thats where the problem lies.

 

Easy and lazy to blame the eleven on the pitch but in truth they are the last part of the jigsaw, a jigsaw that is bourne off the wishes of it's owner and the implementation of those wishes by the CEO. Put most of these players on show today individually into a set up that is the creation of a well run club and they would look completely different players.

 

I will never stop supporting this wonderful club but as it stands I really don't want to put another penny into the club coffers while either Rupp or Sparks are here.

 

@Loyalbantam will be on soon telling us that those who aren’t renewing have upset all the players and they couldn’t be bothered to play today due to the upset

I just wonder what a good way forward is.

An in control manager who can actually recruit a competetive first 11. We dont need directors or recruictment heads, we're in League Two. We dont need five year plans or any of the old jargon. Its season to season in this league

 

I heard him on the radio. He got a right mouthful from me, and I am in no mood to put up with that kind of garbage! Plus if it’s the same one, he said yes he is renewing but he has no interest in going! I kid you not, how do these ppl function!

I agree. Yes they try, but they have no guts for a fight and you need that for a relegation battle. Throwing your hands in the air won’t cut it.

 

After what this club has gone though over the decades it so deserves a better owner than Stefan Rupp. I have no complaints regarding people who do renew, I'm just trying to justify it myself and how can I?
