    There are other examples. Portsmouth in League One, Plymouth in the Championship. The Premiership has Bournemouth who were close to going out of the League in 2009, Luton who were out of the League. All comparable in size to City. We just lack that innovation, dynamism and a bit of luck.

    Absolutely.

    We are the only club in a huge city.
    We have a sizable following despite the fact we're the worst performing club in the EFL.
    We have a stadium that only needs moderate investment to bring it up to modern standards and can easily house a significantly bigger following.
    We are Championship ready with the right investment and leadership.

    Imagine how much you would have to invest in clubs like Wrexham and Stockport County (clubs with EFL history), let alone clubs that aren't stalwart EFL sides, just to catch up to us.

    10's of millions to produce a 25,000 seater stadium, several years (if ever for small towns) to get a 15,000 season ticket-selling fanbase (that would be maintained regardless of cost if the shitshow wasn't so embarrassingly poor).

    We are currently a Preston North End-sized club, we could easily become a Burnley, another medium-sized town punching well above their weight.

    If someone walked in and generated some real excitement, buzz, and investment, they'd have no issues establishing Bradford City as a top end Championship club - quite possibly a Premier League club. Let's not pretend Leicester is massively well-endowed area compared to Bradford. It's not.
