It wouldn't take a great deal to turn this ship around. But it has to come from the very top, the club operates without financial input so ain't gonna go bust. The fear is more with the perception than the actual reality, I guarantee any owner coming in with a half decent plan would have this club sailing to a better destination almost immediately.

He should have replaced Graham Alexander in the forum line up definitely.
Graham Alexander having to wrestle with historic issues which continue to bedevil Bradford City is enough for any manager to cope with and we've had a few.

    Colchester at home wasn't bad.
They're certainly not up there with Villa, Arsenal, Leeds, Chelsea.

It was 1967, the season after City had finished 23rd in the 4th division and were re-elected to the Football League.

As a kid I remember players with collection buckets in the Arndale, I met a couple of them. That'll be early 80s

I am astonished that you think that fans are somehow responsible for how they viewed last nights debacle with or without Rupp. The majority of fans I would suggest are fed up to seething angry about the state of affairs at the club. The lack of respect for fans that is emitting from VP is bad enough without you adding your critical analysis heaped on them. I couldn’t care less about Rupp, he has no interest in this club, other than what he can add to his wealth. He is even loading the club up with debt from the Rahic debacle rather than accepting he made a massive mistake and accepting his investment was a risk, but it was nothing to do with the club.

Agree, you get more for being in league one rather than league two and you would hope your sponcorses would get back onboard and new ones happy to be involved with the club, but to counter that the quality of players you need to bring in to stay in league one would increase, then of course season ticket prices would increase but I'd think that goes with promotion, as fans we have to believe we can get out of this league unfortunately after last night and what Ryan said I'm not too sure from a top 3 player budget last season were told to a top 7 player budget this season although we have more season ticket holders, I cant think of 6 clubs who could have a bigger player budget even with the likes of Wrexham, Notts County, Stockport County, Gillingham, MK Dons ?.

When we played Notts on sky, the commentator said we had the 4th highest budget in the league this season? No idea how much of the inside sky know in terms of budgets. Sparks said in an article at the start of the season, the last promotion side had a £1.8m budget in L2, and this seasons squad is another million on top. So £2.8m budget is apparently 4th highest?

They said Notts had the 9th highest budget in the game too. Sparks said in the same article, one team had a £4m budget, no guesses needed, that Wrexham will be that club. Stockport & Gillingham for sure up there too. Salford will have a big budget, Mansfield too.

What is abundantly clear from all this, is that Sparks thinks by participating in a closed radio forum with cherry picked questions, he has fronted up to the fans and done his bit, and we should all appreciate that and go back to our everyday business and everything is great again

Speaks volumes of the mans arrogance and unprofessionalism and he must resign. Take the inept Gent with him. The lack of respect Sparks receives increases daily, I can count the number of supporters he gets on this site on 3 fingers (4 at a push, naming no names but we all know who I refer to). He is a liar, changes stories to suit his narrative, and is a narcissist

No IMO, its not as bad as some of the times in our past history, I believe us fans are disappointed at the moment because we have a wealthy owner who after last nights forum (although to many what was said was hardly surprising to hear from Ryan) we now know our owner has little interest in Bradford City apart from making sure his purchase viable financially.

Your Notts County comment surprises me and Mansfield too Cloughy has done a good job but its taken him several years tinkering with his squad, how could I forget Salford, they are 3 points behind us same number of games played but their resent results IMO could give them a chance of a play off place, I believe they will finish above Bradford City.

It was part of a wishlist Broncs, I know he won't. He was abysmal last night, I recognised the sqeaming in so many of his half truth comments from the similar behaviour of kids at school I work at!
Last night was at least a further step in bringing our leadership team to account for the lousy running of our club and if your happy with Sparks latest description of his 'mediocre' statement then each to his own.
That comment alone needed further questioning but sadly Raynor didn't pursue it (problem with 1 hour time constraints)

Gent! What can i say except rabbit in the spotlight, totally uninspiring and explains a lot why are recruitment has been so dreadful on the whole. To me him him and Sparks looked like they were at a Working Mans Social Club forum and came across as very inept.

Now hoping the new fan group can continue the progress they are making, for all our sakes

Difference with Salford is that they snapped up Karl Robinson from under our noses, while Sparks sent him and several other potential managers running for the hills with his charisma

Your last sentence is so bloody true. "show proof, or it didn't happen and you are talking shit and have a hidden agenda against Sparks!"

How the feck am I (or any normal person) supposed to reference every single bit of info we pick up! Frustrating times my friend

When you have to walk the streets with a bucket or drag a blanket around the pitch to get fans to contribute a few coins you know your in trouble, as you say St Georges Hall was a shocker, as was the Sunday morning gathering with fans in the old stand Jack and Stafford asking fans to pledge money to get the club out of the mire after the Bob Martin mismanagement, 2 admins the second being as near as we could be with regards losing OUR club, and lets not forget going cap in hand (a couple of times I think) ? to beg fellow 4th division chairmen to keep us in league football as that was as it used to work, never upset your fellow chairman even if you thought they were w*****'s, that's why you have to enjoy and remember the few good times our club has brought to us fans, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Eh? I think one should start again. Read all my posts on the subject since 1800 last night . Then think why it’s only you suggesting I’m blaming supporters for anything other than some being naive about thinking they would get any new or concrete info from the event last night . You really have got the wrong end of the stick .

Yeh, fair enough. The periods the other posters have mentioned are before my time.

But 18th in League Two + the current state of the club setup is down there,
