Barrow Away - TICKETS ON SALE

You need to be optimistic or plain daft to drive over 2 hours to Barrow to watch an in form team up against a team that plays as if there's nothing left to play for. I've all on getting any enthusiasm for home games,let alone away. Anyway, each to their own and on the slight chance we come away with a win some can boast they were there.

 

I'm not happy with things at City at the moment.
But me and the wife will still be there tomorrow.
It's all part of being City fan.

 

Even if by doing so you're contributing to the longevity of the failing regime, and ultimately, failing club?

I'm not saying we're definitively at that point just yet, but if we continue to fail, and no progress is made in potential fans forums with Rupp going forward, or any other actions thereafter, it must be questioned whether there's an element of selfishness involved if your stance was to continue when other fans are begrudgingly boycotting to send a message.

 

You sound like the Just Stop Oil brigade who think they can change the world by throwing orange paint around. Truth is they can’t and nor can we change things at City by boycotting a few games.

 

Normally one of the games that sells out instantly and yet here we are still on sale to season ticket holders. Lack of communication probably a factor, but sign of the times definitely.

 

Increased allocation is also a factor. 900 tickets instead of 400

 

Maybe why they haven’t announced ticket sales is they don’t want some city fans to go?

 

Good luck getting to Barrow in two hours.

 

Why? I mean if you traverse the M62, M61,M6 then yes it’s longer than 2 hours but from north Bradford up the A65 it’s a lot quicker

 

9am kick off in Doncaster for an under 12s match then a 3.5 hour trip to Barrow straight after.
We just keep getting dragged back in.
Supporting the team on 2 fronts now, fighting against getting dragged into a relegation battle and possible cup winners.
Exciting times.

 

Yeah that’s idiotic, I’d definitely sack off the kids game.

 

Life on the edge, it's crazy.

 

TBH the kids football is really exciting and miles more entertaining than league football.
All on the ground, full of pace and some fantastic goals.
Not a drab, long ball 2-0 game.

To be fair I went to Wimbledon expecting sod all and came away with a win, I can only hope something similar happens at Barrow. Although I’ve been telling myself that at most away games….
