On twitter it says a percentage of proceeds will be going to MND. What percentage exactly? If they'd put the simple word 'all' in the equation i'd have purchased. Not that bothered watching the video but i'd have been happy to donate. Easier to give straight to Kev Sinfields charity walk.

    Taken from email
The '2013: When History Was Made' documentary is now available to rent - exclusively on Vimeo - for just £5.50, with proceeds being donated to the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation!

Featuring in-depth interviews with the likes of then-manager Phil Parkinson and assistant Steve Parkin, captain Gary Jones, and key players including Rory McArdle, James Hanson, Nahki Wells and more, this feature-length, 106-minute production tells the story of City's unforgettable, history-making 2012/13 season, 10 years on.

Having first been premiered at the Pictureville Cinema, Bradford, in July 2023, our first-ever in-house documentary production is now available for rental exclusively on Vimeo. Once purchased for £5.50, each supporter will be able to watch the documentary as many times as they like during their three-day rental period.

And, after raising over £18,000 for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation through the Claret and Amber Ramble earlier this year, and recently announcing further fundraising efforts through next year's March of the Day, the club is pleased to confirm that proceeds from this production will be donated to the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, set up by City legend and key member of the 2012/13 squad Stephen Darby, following his motor neurone disease diagnosis in 2018.

What percentage of proceeds it does not say , just hope it’s a high percentage.

Maybe it's 1% to charity and 99% to the untalented and unfunny Bantams Banter lads?

Interesting documentary. One bit I didn’t know was that Julian Rhodes showed Parky some stats on one player near the end of that season and Parky dropped him! I wonder who that was?

I’m not a big fan of Nahki Wells due to who he left us for but he was excellent in this film.

Lawn was bigging himself up as usual!

I saw the Premiere at Picturville. If you haven’t seen it, it’s well worth the watch.

What really came over to me was how much affection PP, Steve Parkin and Nahki Wells have for their City days

Nahki has a nerve after the way he engineered a move away from us, but he has done well financially for himself and will always be remembered mostly favourably by City fans ....

Didn't realise it was Ian Dennis who put Parky's name to Julian & Mark. He didn't apply.

FFS it's only a few weeks after Lawn yet again came out and said we needed to sell Wells to keep the club afloat and still people come out with this shit about him engineering a move.

In the film Lawn says that him and Rhodes never took a wage out of the club but Rhodes took dividends and Lawn took 9.5% interest on his £1m loan!!!!

We could have got more for him at the end of the season. Also Nahki reduced the fee by refusing to consider anyone but Huddersfield!!!!

"Without selling Nahki we wouldn't have been able to trade" is the direct quote from the article.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/theathletic.com/4970402/2023/10/22/watching-phil-parkinson-with-his-former-bosses-there-would-be-times-we-werent-speaking/?amp=1

Pretty definitive about who needed the move to happen at that time I'd say. Even if it's true that he'd only consider Huddersfield so what? Why should anyone have to uproot their lives because their bosses can't run their organisation properly?

And I still don’t buy the whole idea that Wells faked an injury and said he would only move to Huddersfield. Now I could understand pressure from above suggesting he come off at some point to “protect” a saleable asset. Someone mentioned above how he speaks glowingly of his time here, add to that his visit to Preston(?) as fan where he got some dogs (sic) abuse. No, for me the injury was convenient for the club.

He definitely faked injury. He came off after like ten minutes or something. Weren’t you at that match?

I'd be all up for rewatching the 2013 success, but not while we're in the toilet.

    Not interested.

It feels almost... patronising to think about it.

I think you’ll find it was the other way round. Rhodes admitted in an interview in the Athletic a few months back that the club couldn’t keep trading unless they sold Wells. Incredible to get into that position just months after getting to League cup final and promotion at Wembley.
