Didn't the great Bobby Campbell not once snap a snooker cue on another players back? Or have I got that wrong?

 

I'm not sure we can take the moral high ground when during the premiership days we happily cheered on players convicted of armed robbery, assault and drink driving.

 

Behave! This is the bizarre concept that keeps us in the bottom half of the toilet league.
This league calls for nasty players and a nasty manager - we need to become hated and do whatever necessary.

If some of our fans couldn’t cope with Steve Evans I’m not sure how they’ll react to Joey Barton.

 

The reason most fans couldn't cope with Evans is his alleged willy waving at female staff here.

Not so sure Barton has been accused of that.

I don't think our players would take liberties with Barton.

I hate to repeat the point, can anyone force you to sell your house at say 40% less than what YOU believe it’s worth . You know the answer. The rest remains irrelevant once you answer NO.

Let’s please not escape the fact of reality, even though we both know we would prefer an owner who is willing to invest to improve. If I had a spare £10m to gamble with and could afford to potentially lose it then I would invest, I haven’t , that’s reality.

I don't like Barton as a bloke and didn't consider him initially but the more I think of it, the more he possibly fits.

Imt up for giving him a go anyway, it's not like we have a wealth of top class managers breaking our door down.

 

Maybe bring his brother as his number 2 if he can get parole on his murder conviction in

Darragh MacAnthony on Talk Sport radio earlier, discussing ex prem players becoming managers, with him and Simon Jordan saying that these players need to pay their dues by coaching in the lower leagues before being given bigger clubs. Advising John Terry to phone Bradford and ask for an interview.

 

It matters to me that we don't have a complete and utter scumbag managing the side. I completely understand the point of view that it's irrelevant but I want to be cheering a manager who I actually think is a decent bloke.

 

Fair enough - I’d rather be cheering a winning team and promotion.
