Yes, really. I work directly for a CEO in a much bigger business than Bradford City. I network with CEOs all the time, I know and see how they operate. At what point have I said I expect the CEO to dismiss the minimum needs of the owner? Real CEOs manage upwards. They influence their Board, they run their business and ensure targets are appropriately challenging. Any CEO worth their salt - if given a mandate by Rupp, who keep in mind by his own admission does not know this industry, is no more than 'don't make a loss' - would be saying 'is that it? It's not enough'. Managers take a budget and churn out a quota. CEOs lead.

You seem obsessed with fans having to nominate a replacement for Rupp or Sparks. Why would any of us have any idea? It completely misses the point.

I'm sick of the yardstick being the worst owners we can find. We kind of mindset is that? Why not look at other owners at smaller clubs who run their clubs well and demand the same here?

And if you have a question, ask your question. I'm not here to try and read minds bud.

Let's be fair, any competently run football club should, even with proper due process, be able to appoint a new manager inside 4 weeks. Fair play to KM if he's stood down, but it's just highlighted Sparks as the clown he really is.

 

Let’s hope the great deal of due diligence on the manager appointment is better than the clear lack of due diligence they did on recruitment of players!

I see fordy returns after his embarrassing mix up quoting a sample of a recruitment director making 155 signings and all mostly garbage .
