    You made certain similar accusations previously about so called Academy players who turned out not to be Academy players at all. You'll probably recall that your posts had to be removed after you even added a few photos and names. You're becoming tiresome with these kinds of posts.

    I would say that people ‘do drugs’ for a myriad of reasons.

    l doubt they go to their dealers and say, “l want some drugs because of Rupp and Sparks”.

    I think you need to find a dark room and lay down. We are not toxic, we were an unhappy bunch of fans, but that was down to results and performance.

    As supporters we have a right to express our pleasure or displeasure of the team and clubs current performance.

    I'm not one to boo and certainly didn't get on board with the, 'you're getting sacked in the morning' chants, but when this started to become more audible- and certainly before the chants against Hughes - the club missed a huge opportunity to step up and send a clear message to the fans and potentially nip the toxicity in the bud.

    If they remained behind Hughes then they should have acknowledged fans frustrations, accepted it but reassured everyone the club remain committed and determined to turn the tough patch around by working through it with the manager - much like Lawn and Rhodes did with Parkinson.

    They didn't and therefore let the unrest escalate and the toxicity set in. As a club, they need to read the fan base better and step in and communicate more effectively. There is of course the other side to consider. Perhaps they also wanted Hughes out and purposefully stayed quiet and made his position untenable! Who knows.

    Good point, well made Rod. My choice of drug is beer, and I'd say Rupp & Sparks are not to blame for my intake of that, more what I would call "getting the taste".

    Sorry mate but it's the football out on the pitch that gets my juices flowing (or boiling!). As long as we have a competitive playing budget it's then down to the manager/coach's tactics.
