Obviously fans will do what they want, but in my view they were out of order for singing that. Horrible to think our fans are doing the oppositions work for them. Yes we are all unhappy and devastated that our club is in a right old state but come on!

Hughes interview asking if saw any signs players/squad weren't with them.

Yes the signs were there he can say as much as he wants the players gave there all for him last night....they didn't they downed tools and gave up especially during the 7 added minutes.

 

I actually agree. I want MH gone but I don’t think it’s right your own fans signing sacked in the morning. I get the frustration though.
Funnily enough I sat through 15 minutes of the below earlier and all I thought was how moronic our fans are. Half of them don’t know if they’re coming or going. Absolutely brain dead and clueless for the majority of what they watch.

 

Saw that video earlier. Agree understand booing but you don't chant that at your own manager, end of the day he didn't have to go over couldve just walked away. He knew reaction he would get going over was going to be bad.

 

I don't think he has lasted the last three or four games, being subbed or last night, benched. Does a leopard change its spots?, Barrow clearly didn't think so and my view, for what it's worth is he has realised this move is possibly last chance saloon and it appears he is struggling to maintain that.

 

With nine goals in the bank, he has earned a short poor spell.

 

That maybe so. Makes me wonder why we signed him and gave him a lengthy contract?

Watching the fan highlights from last night, did anyone notice the lack of TEAM celebration after Cook scored.
Very muted, no togetherness.

 

Did Hughes think people would be clapping and cheering after losing to a team that has won two times this season. The Saturday game to go with it.

 

Plus the pathetic interview Stubbs gave after the Walsall game, on how a great set of skilled, experienced players who were going to address the issues of the Walsall game, yeah we saw if for the first 20 minutes last night but after that…… Shamefull

 

Yep agree. I never watch player or manager interviews this season, it is the same garbage spewed out week after week. It really boils my piss, I can guarantee there'll be someone else tomorrow or Friday saying how it is all on us the players to put it right on the next game etc etc

I’ve said the same all season.
Pre match press conferences are just 2 or 3 minutes of cliche filled drivel that keeps a certain section of the fan base happy by convincing them that stuff is gonna change.
They just trot out the same old stuff about “good weeks training”
“Down to the players to put right”
“Appreciate the fans backing”
Etc.Etc.

Last nights post match interview could have been from any of Hughes’ defeats over the last 18 months.

Same old same old.

 

It was a bizarre celebration as a whole, no idea why Cook decided to pick out a young girl who couldn't have been anymore than 8 or 9. I think there were some players like Stubbs who just wanted to get back and kick off, in the position we are against a team like Tranmere we should have been looking to go for the winner rather than celebrate the goal.

 

I got distracted by cook having a go at the 2 young kids

 

We signed him because he's a Bradford lad who just went up as champions, albeit as a squad player, and that was our ambition: to get promoted with useful players throughout the squad.

 

I was replying with regard to a slant on his character. The post insinuated that a leopard can’t change it’s spots which is why he is out of the team. In that case there should have been signs prior to us giving him a long term contract? Or do we pick them on youtube?

 

I just read it as he isn't the fittest lad in the world, and hasn't done anything to make sure he lasts a full 90 week in, week out. "A bit lazy", in other words.
