    This is the really worrying thing. If Hughes goes, whoever replaces him will inherit a badly unbalanced squad containing far too many has-beens or never-will-be’s.

    Just end it now.

    Death by a thousand cuts over the next few games will do nobody any favours. This isn't being turned around to any great degree.

    The summer recruitment has been absolutely horrendous. This was all plainly evident in the close season. Well done, City.
