Do you really think one victory against a very poor off key Newport side would change people's opinions of MH
He has employed boring negative tactics from day one and won't get us promoted if he stays till 2030
His reputation/Intentions (which were clear to see) were sullied beyond redemption after the Carlisle play off matches
Bringing in a lower league coach to assist won't make a scrap of difference it's Hughesway or the Highway
I do agree it's too big a job to be done correctly for one man that's why unless we appoint a DOF (choose your own title) we can appoint manager after manager and get absolutely nowhere it's not worked well in the past Parky accepted
Things need to change drastically and quickly or we could find ourselves in a very real relegation battle
Whoever suggested David Baldwin should be given a consultancy to appoint the next dof and manager is on the right track Appointing big (historical) names/someone who has previously gained a L2 promotion alone is folly as has been proved
It's now time for multiple changes or I fear the consequences

What happens to Hodges if a new coach comes in?
    Sacked?
Stands silently on touch line while new guy does some coaching?
Helps new guy with coaching?(Defeats the object of getting a new guy)

It’s just not going to happen.
Hodges has been with Hughes at various clubs on and off for about 15/20 years.
    Hughes wouldn’t accept it.

I believe at one stage soon after Hughes was appointed City were paying wages (at varying percentages) to McCall, Trueman (covering the difference between his old wage and lower wage as a coach), Sellars, Adams and Hughes himself.

I’m sure I saw somewhere that Adams demanded to be paid out his remaining contract. Hence the accounts had a £300k loss in his season due to the compensation.

I said before, if Hughes stumbles upon a winning formula, it would be more by luck than judgement. He's completely run out of ideas as to what to do, and that is the sign (for me anyway) that a change needs to be made. He's tried formation changes, not worked. He's had a clear the air meeting (after Morecambe), yet we're still seeing the same defeatist attitude. We've a massive squad to choose from, with only a couple more to comeback, yet we still regress. We've had less than 10 shots on target in 3 home games, despite being told we'd play on the front foot. 2 points from 3 games we should be winning is relegation form. There are absolutely no signs of encouragement and the fans have had enough. There is no light at the end of the tunnel that I can see. Maybe Jake Young was right when he called him out and maybe, he was the only one strong enough to say what everyone else was thinking.
This really is depressing and as much as it'll put us back in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, if he has resigned no one can say that he wasn't given the tools to make a good go of it. He just didn't know how to use them. I honestly believe there'll be less than 10k in the stands next home game. Poor performances, lack of excitement and no attempts to score are hardly a recipe for getting me down to VP.

Tomorrow's game against Tranmere will be very telling. They are in an even worse state than us. If we can't get 3 points against them after, as you rightly say, only taking 2 points in three home games against moderate opposition then we are edging into a relegation fight.

Agree we should be beating Tranmere but this talk of relegation is ridiculous
Despite our shocking form we are only 7 points off top and if had won Saturday it would be 4
Not a chance we will go down

Some of the claims are always hyperbole.

We've had 10 years of "crowds are dwindling", "fans won't come", and we've somehow had 10 years of massive crowds.

We aren't anywhere near relegation form, but to be in the bottom third, to some, is as bad as relegation given where we should be.

But it's still not actual relegation.

Stuarts contract in 2020 was until the end of the 2021 season, so it has expired quite some time ago.

Adams contract was until the summer of 2024.

Imagine a so-called "big name" like Mark Hughes failing at a L2 club the size of Bradford. He'll never get another management job in football if that happens, probably end up a TV pundit

This may offer some perspective, ‘Exact figures for League Two manager salaries are very difficult to find. A leaked report from 2020 suggested the average was around £80,000 per year’. https://www.888sport.com/blog/league-two-salary. So if City paid say £100,000 for Uncle Fester, and Morecambe are only paying £60,000, then the simple difference is £40,000 a year, until next June.

I'm sure that could have waited for training today, if he continues to set up at corners the way he is doing it will continue IMO make players responsible and take ownership of the player they are designated to mark at set pieces/corners.

Not sure why he would leave a club that he built from nothing finishing 4th bottom of league two in season 2021/22 to 3rd from the top of league one, I as everyone else want success at Valley Parade but I honestly can't see why he would leave Stevenage to come here, that's not taking into consideration any compensation package for both him and Paul Raynor who goes everywhere with him and the split with regards many fans not wanting him.
