Is Sally still in charge overall?

 

Unless he's been sacked for a reason unbeknownst to everyone... He was hired in July and sacked before the middle of September. It sums up a lot of what's wrong at the club - yes I realize they're basically their own entity.

 

On his appointment it was quoted, by the chairman that he and the new manager shared the same vision and what was needed to take the club forward.

Yesterday it was clear they needed to go in a different direction.

He was sacked for having the temerity to win a game.

 

I heard he was sacked for playing a flat back four.

 

You cant get away with that sort of sexist comment......................

 

Certainly seems like there's something gone on that hasn't been made public.

 

Somebody I know, and who is heavily involved (along with his son and daughter) in women's football and coaching in the West Riding County Women's Football League, posted a comment on Facebook mentioning interference and meddling from above in terms of 'footballing' matters rather than the manager being in full control. Read into that what you wish......

 

No, Dave. Got sent out on loan to Swindon and is scoring a shedful of goals......

 

That’s how it should be … Football clubs have to abide by Employment Law, just like any business.
