Everyone looks like a player when you sit off a team so deep without the ball that they just play in front of you until you decide to press half heartedly and they play through you. Hughes has to set us up deep as he knows there are gaping holes in behind with the 3 without any pace if we play further up the pitch. That leaves transition impossible and reliant on a break or mistake.

 

What on earth were Stubbs and Platt doing, marking fresh air?

Kelly ended up on the right side trying to deal with a runner and Richards should have challenged better but a poor,soft,stupid goal to give away when City offer so little going forwards

 

that goal is very much like Carlisle away and Johnny Evans goal last season v poor
